About Mos Burger

In the 1960s, Mr. Sakurada was employed by an investment firm in Los Angeles and was a frequent Tommy patron. Mr. Sakurada came up with the idea that a Japanese equivalent to an American legend would be equally well-liked by his fellow citizens after being inspired by the “cook to order” approach and the mouthwatering hamburgers at Tommy’s.

In 1972, Mr. Sakurada opened the first MOS Burger restaurant in Tokyo after arriving back in his own country. Mr. Sakurada inspired his team to develop novel goods that would withstand the test of time since he was dedicated to providing food tailored to the Japanese palate. The Rice Burger, one of the best inventions, was a smash sensation when it was introduced in Japan in 1987.

MOS burgers turned out to be life saviors, often for us hungry vegetarians in Singapore. They were undoubtedly delicious, but the best thing for us was that they were among the rare burger joints that did not have eggs in their veg patty. These burgers were small and perfect for a light snack. Wagyu burger is a burger made using ground beef from Wagyu cattle.
