How It Began

Established in 1956, Old Chang Kee began as a little stall in a coffee shop across from what was then the Rex Cinema on Mackenzie Road. Known fondly back then as “Rex Curry Puff Central,” this booth was a destination for foodies from all over Singapore searching for the ideal curry puff.
