How It Began

Established in 1956, Old Chang Kee began as a little stall in a coffee shop across from what was then the Rex Cinema on Mackenzie Road. Known fondly back then as “Rex Curry Puff Central,” this booth was a destination for foodies from all over Singapore searching for the ideal curry puff. Since then, it has been embedded in the minds of Singaporeans how delicious and tasty every bite of their first puff and they raved over it, which have been made of Many Singaporeans can still recall the deliciousness of their first puff.
