108 Matcha Saro
Too milky. The matcha powder was only whisked for a very short duration (less than 10 sec), so as you can see there are many clumps and the flavour would not be maximised. Not worth $5.50 but I used a Samsung voucher for $3...still not quite worth it since it's basically drinking sweetened milk with a hint of matcha (note: comes unsweetened and mine added a bit of syrup). I saw someone else buy a mini parfait and it's SO small... For $7. Service was prompt and pleasant, but they can 100% do a better job at preparing the drink.
Bought the mixed soft serve using NTUC LinkPoints. The soft serve is rich and creamy, with a distinct matcha flavour that is not overly sweet. Overall, it is a satisfying treat for matcha lovers.
Enjoyed the matcha soft serve in a cone at 108 Saro. It had a rich, smooth flavor that really stood out. Have also tried their hojicha soft serve, which tasted alright, still prefer the matcha for its deeper, more satisfying taste. Overall, a great place to visit if you’re a fan of matcha desserts.
The drink was so diluted and the ice cream has little matcha taste. The standard has dropped so much from last time and definitely not worth this price. More like fast food outlet standard. So disappointing, not returning
The matcha soft serve has an excellent texture and flavor. It is smooth, creamy, and at the right temperature. The matcha is also high quality. For $5 it’s absolutely worth it.
