Aburi-EN

This is my second time here, and I really love their wagyu don (forgot the exact name). For A4/A5 grade, it’s quite affordable. The beef was juicy and tender. We also tried the buta don. The pork was succulent. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Absolutely revolting. The beef had so much tenderizer injected into it, it had turned to mush. Probably the worst beef I've ever eaten. Pork wasn't much better but at least that didn't disintegrate and dissolve when you put your chopsticks on it. Disgusting. If you don't know how to cook a steak without chemical tenderizer then you should shut down your establishment. I'm absolutely shocked by the high rating of this place. If you appreciate good meat, don't go here. Disgusting slop.

Ordered the iberico hoho don for lunch. Pork jowl is very tender and nice. Taste is good though grilled too charred for me. Weekday lunch came with miso soup and appetizer.

Great Japanese grill with good ingredients. The aburi dishes were flavorful and well executed, especially the beef. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Whenever I am in Suntec, I will always end up here after browsing the plethora of restaurants. Aburi-En never fails in its food standards. Another pulling factor is the warm and friendly staff who are attentive and take initiative to ensure good dining experience.
