Description
Their croissants hit different—buttery, flaky layers that shatter the second your teeth sink in, with a custardy interior that's pure heaven. The Asian fusion pastries are where things get interesting: think matcha cream buns and yuzu-filled tarts that bridge East and West with zero awkwardness. Pro tip: their laminated doughs are proofed overnight for maximum flavour depth, so grab a seat and savour every crumb.

Great store to grab CNY Cookies & snacks. Samples were available prior purchases. The product range was good, the displays were clear & easily to locate. I like how they incorporated Singapore flavours into their products. These would be good option as gifts or to enjoy ourselves. Experience was even better with the friendly services.
Signature Pineapple Balls The crust is soft and crumbly — more like a buttery tart shell rather than a hard pastry, and it’s not greasy at all. The pineapple filling still has a bit of real fruit texture, with a naturally balanced sweet-and-tangy flavour instead of being overly sugary. I personally prefer pineapple that leans slightly tart, and this one hit the spot perfectly.
A must-visit for last-minute souvenirs at Changi Airport! Located right next to the waterfall, MDM LING Bakery is super convenient and has a great variety of Singaporean treats like pineapple tarts, almond cookies, butter cookies and more. The gift boxes are elegant and perfect for sharing with family, friends, or colleagues. They also offer travel-size packs, which are very practical for flying. Highly recommended if you want to bring home something local and nicely packaged.
Perfect Singapore Gifts! Their cookies are not only well-packaged and travel-friendly, but also full of local flavors. My favorite was the Kopi Siew Dai cookie — it genuinely tastes like a cup of local kopi with less sugar: aromatic, slightly bitter, and not overly sweet. The Gula Melaka series was another standout, with that rich, coconutty palm sugar aroma that feels very “Singapore”. The Pandan pineapple ball is another good choice for Chinese New Year, which stands out by its Pandan aroma. What I appreciate most is that the flavors feel authentic, not touristy. It’s something I’d confidently gift to friends, colleagues, and family — and everyone can enjoy it. Staff were very friendly and offered samples without any pressure. If you’re looking for unique, tasty and culture-rich souvenirs from Singapore, this place is worth checking out
My go-to last stop before flying from Changi. MDM Ling Bakery has light, easy-to-carry gift boxes and very “Singapore-style” flavours. Loved the Kopi Siew Dai cookie and the chocolate almond one — fragrant, not too sweet, and great as souvenirs.
