Bali Thai (Suntec City)

We liked their friendly services & smile at Bali-Thai in SunTec+. We had ordered Olive Rice Set, Petai Fried Rice Set & Thai Milk Tea for our dinner. We liked the taste for both the rice set. It was delicious 😋 & fulfilling. They even served us warm water as complimentary, as most restaurants will charge it.

Chicken is well marinated and flavourful, the Tom Yum and Kang kong from the 2 pax set had a good level of spice. Kang Kong had a good wok hey as well. Steamed Fish is good, pairs well with the sour soupy gravy. Calamansi and milk tea is pretty decent. The 2 pax set fed three people easily, and it came with dessert of the day which is gula melaka sago with coconut milk and longan. Sweet and creamy, it was really indulgent! The service is amazing! Like legit, they are so attentive and quick to clear empty dishes and answer any queries we had on the set dishes and the food. Especially thankful for James because his service is top tier! Even the general service with all the other waiters was amazing too! They took note of how we had three people despite getting one of the 2 pax set, and gave us an extra set of utensils to accommodate all of us. I also love that it’s not very noisy here unlike other restaurants, giving it a good ambience.

Thank you to James and Afifah for the great hospitality, they were very friendly and all smiles :) I had 2 orders of the papaya salad and one each of the butter and cereal prawns, along side the mango sticky rice and a drink to-go. Excellent packaging as there were no spills at all (I walked about 45 mins in the evening crowd) and sauces/dressing were kept separate without asking. James also ensured to check I received everything in the bag, and thoughtfully offered suggestions on reheating. The papaya salad’s always a favorite of ours, and complimented the fried prawns well.

Food is not bad, but the price is too steep. The worst thing is they take way too long to serve one simple dish. Do not visit if you value your time. The staff are all extremely inefficient. They take forever to clean a table, walk slowly to serve food, just seems like they couldn't be bothered to do their job.

Very good food, while has Vegan option menu. Love it so much. I can feel the food even before eating already very good aroma. Definitely my favorites
