The Kujukushima Bay oysters arrive pristine and briny, but head straight for the Josper-grilled Abrolhos Island octopus—charred tentacles with that impossible tender-chewy snap. Barossa Steak and Grill
Great spot & cosy place for a relaxed meal with high quality food and a friendly crew. St Louis ribs were well marinated and grilled well - the meat was falling off the bone. Baked mac and cheese was also creamy and delicious with crunchy bacon bits. We enjoyed the blini de Jamon appetiser very much, simply delicious. Will come back and try other items on the menu. Discounts off AMEX love dining is a big plus.
Enjoyed my dinner at Barossa! Had the 4-course set for $58++ and an ala carte tenderloin. The pork was well seasoned and charred nicely. There was an issue with the tenderloin and it was sent back to the kitchen. Really happy with the service provided for us to truly enjoy our dinner! The sticky date pudding is a MUST-ORDER! There is a short wait before it was served but it was well worth it. The temperature and texture of the cake was just right, and the glazed banana was a really good fit! Love it!
Had a great time here, food was good, solid selection of wines, and we loved this flaming dessert!! We had the meat platter, the seafood medley, two pastas to share, and three desserts to share between six of us. Overall a lovely experience, and the servers were so friendly and welcoming.
Finally got to try Barossa after almost a year of walking past it. Pet-friendliness has been inconsistent. On past occasions, staff mentioned that outdoor dining was sometimes pet-friendly and sometimes not. In an early November call, we were told firmly that pets were no longer allowed at all, which contradicted a friend’s mid-November visit when she dined here with her dogs and highly recommended the steak. To be sure, we decided to walk in and only dine if pets were allowed. Thankfully, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member on a Sunday evening who confirmed that we could dine al fresco with our dog. There was a solid selection of steaks and an even more impressive wine list. We ordered the striploin and tenderloin, medium doneness with a charred exterior, and started with a well-balanced lychee martini. The food took a while to arrive, but this gave us time to enjoy the fireworks across the waterfront at Sentosa. The steaks were slightly more done than we prefer, though it was clear the chef tried to follow our request. Now that we know, we would opt for medium-rare with a charred exterior next time. The grilling itself was excellent, and the effort was appreciated. The highlight was the Bombe Alaska, complete with a mini fire show. The yuzu sorbet inside the marshmallow was refreshing, though we wished the portion were a little larger. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dinner. We do hope the outdoor pet-friendly option remains available on future visits.
Ordered the meal platter and everything was excellent. The medium-cooked steak was done perfectly—juicy and flavorful—and the pork ribs were just as good. Portions are very generous and can easily be shared by 4–5 people. The cheese platter was also a highlight, with all the cheese options tasting great. Service was also very good—the staff were very accommodating, thanks Jeanie!
