It is very pleased to be served by that male customer service staff. Very polite and customer oriented. First time we see bak kwa ice cream do we decided to try and bought coin bak kwa and 1 piece of each to try - sliced pork, chili pork and applewood pork. So that we know what to buy when closer to cny which is 2 weeks from now!
New durian cake!!! Higher than expected!!! Hopefully can sell permanently.
The BBQ pork slices are wonderful. The store has a wide variety of local delights for you to choose from. The service provided by the staff is magnificent.
Extremely bad service at J8 outlet on 26/1/24. I bought 1kg of bbq pork at $70+ and paid with bch vouchers bought from safra. To my astonishment, the lady with foreign accent refused to give me ang bao pack although I have purchased beyond the min $50 to get 1. Her reasoning was I used vouchers so it's not equivalent to cash purchase & I get no more gift item not even an ang pao pack. But i don't see any notice on this in the shop. This is during festive cny period yet she can be so insensitive & ridiculous. I will feedback to safra also to tell them the bch vouchers they sell are not as good as cash.
Yesterday bought 600g of Apple wood bak gua at Junction 8, when I reached home I get 1 slice to eat & I realised the bk was very hard.. I was thinking maybe its only a slice but after eating the 2nd n 3rd slice I realised the hardness is quite consistent, can't chew n swallow :( I used to get from Ang mo kio branch n never experienced this before. Not sure if it's CNY period; the volume had compromised the quality.. now my kids n elderly in my family can't consume.. it's wasted 😔
