Big Appetite
Tried a few stalls at Big Appetite Food Court and overall had a good experience. The suan la sliced fish soup was flavorful with a nice spicy-sour kick and is definitely worth trying. The Western food grilled fish was nicely done, tender and well-seasoned. The claypot rice was just okay, nothing special but decent if you're craving it. Service overall is quite poor though.
Located near Cow Play Cow Moo and Burger King!! We ordered western food from Big Grill, and had Fish & Chips as well as Smoked duck carbonara. Prices are wallet-friendly and they have ongoing promotions: selected menu items include complimentary mushroom soup. Would recommend their fish and chips (included the mushroom soup) - portion was alright with adequate crisp; mushroom soup was creamy but somewhat didn’t hit the spot for me, was still a decent bowl of free soup though :) Plenty of empty seats at around 630pm timing on a weekday, so finding seats was not an issue at all.
Ruby Thai Cusine - Had the $30 set, worth it. Rice portion was huge. Tom yum soup was tasty Wok of Wonders - Chicken fried rice have very nice wok taste but very few pieces of meat Minus one star foodcount in general does not feel very clean as floor is very oily.
We tried the Thai cuisine (Ruby Thai), got the combo steam fish at $19 (or $20 I can’t remember exactly) comes with 2 rices and spring rolls. The rice is dry, the stir fried Kailan not really well cook, some veg still raw. The fish is fresh, tender and fragrance soup.
This food court offers dishes which are mostly cheaper than Food Republic. It is located at level 3 of Tower 4 next to Burger King and GoldenVillage cinema. My favorite is the Chinese herbal soup stall. On weekdays the patrons are mostly office workers. After lunch it is quieter. Most stalls will operate until around 9pm.
