Bizen Wagyu & Salad Bar @ Plaza Singapura

Had dinner with friends here. Decided to try their steak, and the waiter recommended some cuts that’s was imported recently. I just go along with it, although it is a little pricey. Steak is great! Taste really good and tender too. Starters with oyster and chicken wings. Oysters are huge with the yuzu spicy sauce is amazing. Chicken wings also taste good and special, not too oily. Not to mention that there is free flow salad bar for every main course ordered. The salad bar has fresh vegetables for the salad and a nice corn soup. Service is quite attentive when the staff will help collect all the empty plates diligently. The drawback here is, they don’t replace and provide a clean plates after collected. We have to go to the salad bar to get clean plates ourself. Which I felt it sis not so convenient when you have oyster shell and bones from chicken wings to put aside. Overall, it was a good experience and I enjoyed the food. Recommended if you willing to splurge and pamper yourself with a good meal.

Had dinner there on weekdays evening. Tucked at a corner of Plaza Sing and took a while to find the unit. We made an reservation but probably not required for weekdays evening. The price is mid range probably cos of the free flow salad bar. Not a lot of variety but tbh quite ok taste. Worth for big eaters, didn't find my calories wasted. Have a few servers around but only few are attentive, cannot be too shy, need reach out to them to get served. They will take away the cup for refilling of the drinks but reuse the existing cup, need to remember which cup is yours, recommend to get different color straw to avoid getting mixed up. The main dish is ok. The chicken cutlet is served in simple plating but the portion is big. Wish they served more sauce as it's not exactly enough for me, but I didn't attempt to ask for more so not sure if they can give more. Grill chicken portion is a bit small though, but just nice for ladies with the salad bar.

Experience over at BIZEN Plaza Singapura outlet was extremely delightful. From the entrance to the seating, I was served by the wonderful Mel on duty. He assisted my partner to the seat as he was on wheelchair with thoughtful initiative to make sure the table was unblocked for easy travel. It was not my first visit at Bizen, but definitely the first review. If you are here for steaks, you are in the right place. With an awesome selection of cuts and quality, you’re in for a treat. Otherwise, options of other meat is available as well. For this visit, I had one of their chicken option and the food was extremely flavourful and portion just right. The meals came with a salad buffet bar, both hot and cold, sweet and savoury. Not to be missed if you needed more food. From range of sushi to mentaiko eggs and fresh vegetables to ready pasta salad. The price was right for the quality provided and the options available. Mel was also constantly checking in to make sure that the food was right and the food was good and we are comfortable. Definitely a recommend for this place. Will be back next time.

A delicious buffet of appetisers with a strong Japanese influence - fresh, well-prepared, and enjoyable. The mushroom soup, however, was too starchy for my liking. Its mild flavour suggested insufficient stock, with the thickness overpowering the taste. A Japanese-style soup might be a more suitable and harmonious option than a Western one. The staff recommended the special Wagyu A3 special cut steak, which turned out to be excellent, tender, flavourful, and clearly the highlight of the meal. I will definitely be back for more.

Ordered petite flat iron steak and green tea for $29.70+. Summary Flat iron : wonderful Mushroom : wonderful Mash potato : average Steak Sadly only the petite size was available. Well salted with good beefy taste. Really let the natural taste of the beef does it's talking. Not the most tender but in a good way, cut it to little cube to best enjoy it. However i thought it is suppose to be a cheap cut of meat? Why is it at such a price Mushroom Umami goodness. Very tasty. Mash potato Not the most well mashed and taste can definitely be improved with more butter. Honestly steak was quite addictive but the size is really small.
