Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers
Once you try this, you will understand why it has stood the test of time. The burgers are excellent value, generous in portion and made with fresh ingredients. Service is top-notch, with food arriving promptly despite the disclaimer of a 15-minute wait. The surprise find was the strawberry smash cocktail, which was spirit-forward amidst the freshness of its ingredients. I found the shakes overly sweet and would recommend it to be shared among at least four people. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I will be back soon.
Burgers and milkshakes are delicious and well made. Chefs make each burger with care. Service is fast and efficient. Highly suggest reserving a spot ahead of time as it is popular and walk in queue can get crazy. For burger doneness, medium is still quite juicy. If you like a more cooked but still juicy experience request for medium well, the chefs do it well with skill. Guac and chips is a great starter here. Really smooth guac! Have a good time there!
Returning to Black Tap Singapore at Marina Bay Sands nearly a decade after my first visit, it is reassuring to find that both quality and consistency remain intact. The portions are unapologetically generous, and the execution still justifies the restaurant’s popularity. The highlight of the meal was the Cake Shake from the Crazy Shakes lineup. Compared to the Sweet and Salty Peanut Butter Shake I tried on a previous visit, which leaned overly dense and heavy toward the end, the Cake Shake was notably lighter and more balanced. The cake itself was soft, moist, and well integrated, making the drink indulgent without being overwhelming. For food, we shared the Wagyu Steakhouse Burger, cooked to a precise medium doneness, accompanied by onion rings and fries. The kitchen delivered a satisfying, well-seasoned burger, while the sheer volume of fries alongside it proved difficult to finish, reinforcing Black Tap’s reputation for hearty servings. A thoughtful gesture from the service team saw the burger neatly cut in half for sharing, a small detail that elevated the overall experience. Service deserves special mention. Despite arriving without a reservation during a Tuesday dinner service, seating was promptly arranged. The staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely hospitable, even surprising us with a complimentary brownie to celebrate a birthday at the table. Black Tap continues to deliver on both comfort and spectacle, pairing bold flavours with commendable service. A dependable choice at MBS, and one I would gladly return to.
Visited Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers with my wife on a casual Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for an easygoing lunch date. I had the Wagyu Steakhouse Burger, grilled medium-well as recommended by the staff. While it wasn’t as juicy as a medium patty might be, it made for a much cleaner and easier eating experience. The overall quality and flavor of the burger were clearly above what you’d get at a typical fast-food chain—definitely a cut above. That said, I still feel burgers as a dish have their limits, so I couldn’t quite give it a perfect score. One highlight of the visit was the craft beer selection. Since we came just after lunch hours, we opted for a Yuzu Lager and a Ginger Beer instead of something heavier like an IPA. Both drinks were surprisingly rich and flavorful, a great match with the meal. Looking forward to coming back to try more from the menu—especially some of the other beers and dishes I didn’t get to explore this time.
Love their burgers. Really large servings, sure to fill your hungry stomach. Price at reasonable, most expensive at $29 before tax. You have a choice on how your meat is cook, just like steak (rare, medium rare, medium, medium well or well done). Service staff are very attentive. A pretty cozy place but it's a little hot especially with the evening sun shining directly at the restaurant. It is in tbe mall but they're using the mall central A/C, hence it is no match for the sunny Singapore heat. Overall, a sumptous satisfy meal. Damage for 3pax is $127.09 after tax.
