Cedele Bakery Cafe - VivoCity

It was my first time trying out the cake here and no regrets with the choice of onde onde cake. I really liked the combination of the two flavoured cakes of gula melaka and pandan in a single cake. The portion size for a slice also felt was reasonable. Other noteworthy points/ tips: - This bakery cafe has a few seatings available. - Orders are placed at the counter. - They have a table towards the back of the cafe for patrons to place used cutlery and dishware. - Staff were ok. Not all were friendly but notably there was a staff member who was pretty cluey. He did take note i was not alone and inquired if the slice of cake was for sharing to provide additional cutlery. - The chairs were fascinating to me as the seating surface was rather wide. It was comfortable.

Went to VivoCity Cedele outlet yesterday at 8pm with my family. After my parents had sat down, your male staff (wearing specs and with a malaysian accent) came over to inform us to leave as he mentioned that the shop has closed?! We were taken by surprised, as this is not the first time we were here to have our desserts and in fact we came in earlier than usual. When we questioned further on why the shop is closed so early, the staff just informed us to order takeaway. In the end the staff shared that they are expected to close at 8.30, and we asked why can't we order cakes to dine in since there's still ample time consume. Then the staff relectantly let us dine in. If your shop were to close at 8pm,please kindly update your Google map information as it clearly shows that the shop opens till 9pm. Oh yah, the same staff didn't even bother to gave us the dessert utensils and he probably expected us to eat with our hands since he is rushing to chase us away. So I actually had to take the forks which meant for mains beside the cashier box by myself. Definitely not going back again with this kind of unwarranted customer service!

I always come here for a healthy chicken roasted sandwich with generous servings of fresh avocadoes. Healthy food with delicious cakes too.

First time at Cedele VivoCity and it was ruined by staff named Vincent. When I asked simple questions about soup and set menu pricing, he got visibly impatient, gave wrong information, and even shouted at me loudly in front of others. Extremely rude, humiliating, and completely opposite of the "warm, wholesome" brand Cedele claims to be. Very disappointing - I will not return.

Disappointed at the new cups used. It’s much smaller than before but cost the same. Noting that Cedele’s coffee isn’t very good to begin with, now with this change in cup size, I don’t find a reason to visit again. Furthermore the staff, Vincent, who served us was not only rude but also unprofessional. Speaking to his family members asking them to order food across a customer while serving. Just disappointed. Edit: Just realise we had extra cake on our cup. And the funny thing is we didn’t order any. Where was it from🤢 Poor service, dirty cups, lousy coffee. I think they got them all. ggwp
