Châteraisé - NEX

We’ve always been biased toward Châteraisé cakes, pastries, and especially their ice cream. Their products are never overly sweet, always taste fresh, and are consistently high in quality. Prices are reasonable too. It’s our family’s go-to place whenever we’re craving sweets or celebrating with cakes.

Does not provide the premium cakes that the high prices imply. Rather normal cakes. Was queuing up to pay for my ice cream/pancake and a couple went ahead of me and cut my queue. The staffs didn't say anything. Then when it was my turn to pay, I noticed a lady standing beside me without holding anything. I assumed she was waiting for the staff to serve her. So I proceeded to stand in front of the counter wanting to pay for my items. Then suddenly the older staff said i "CUT QUEUE" and I was shocked as I didn't even know that the lady was in line. They could have say it in a polite way that the lady was actually in front of me instead of saying that I "CUT QUEUE". Come to think of it I was the first in the shop and I was already queuing to pay but the lady chose her items with the staff and the staff told her to go to the counter for payment. Then suddenly I had to let her go first? What kind of logic is this?This is what happens when Chateraise hires uneducated staff who doesn't know customer service. What a shame as this is a Japan's brand which is supposed to have good customer service! I explained to the younger staff about my thoughts politely and she said "my apologies about what happened" but the older auntie just ignored me. Bad attitude! Totally ruined my mood for the ice cream!

Standard has been declining. Bought their top seller fresh strawberry cream cake and th cake was soggy and not fresh. Saw the expiry date sticker which is 2 days away. Expensive and poor quality. Not buying from here anymore.

Wow, these people know how to present a very enticing image of their product and brand. Exceptional world class service from the minute you step to the corded area in front of the glass case.. packaging of the products is well thought out. Purchased a slice of zebra cake which was placed in a very nice box on top of a greeted proof cake holder which has a very small ice pack placed underneath, then wrapped in bakers clear plastic to help keep the shape...this product was on sale for under $5...incredible flavor and texture.. Purchased 3 other items that were also presented very well and tasted Amazing..you got to go here The only item I didn't photograph was the zebra cake.... Enjoy
