Famous Amos

I went to the woodlands outlet today and wanted to buy 2 packets of 100g cookies. The reason I did that was because I didnt want to buy 200g one shot and have the cookies get soft over time while eating. So I asked for original chocolate chip for 100g X 2 packets. The staff asked if i wanted to get the offer for 160g x 2 and I politely rejected as I did not want to get too much and eat too much. I did not notice the tuesday special 200g free 100g promo. Once I made payment I noticed the promo and approached to ask why I couldnt get the 100g free. The staff seemed to give illogical answer, asking what payment method and when I said paywave, she said cant void the transaction so I cannot get the promo free 100g. I am like what? I bought 200g? Just in 2 different packets. Same flavour. Why can’t I be given the free 100g? It doesnt make any sense. Dont put up such offers if not happy to give, and ask your staffs to inform customers on the different promos as we dont always notice the promos. When I asked for 200g cookies, could have informed me and I would have known. Haiss. Terrible outlet and just frustrating.

i wish i can put 0 stars but unfortunately i cant. terrible customer service in this outlet. the staff, especially the red-haired girl and the indian (for lack of a better description) girl, were especially rude and aggressive when serving customers. they don't wear their uniforms nor put on gloves when handling the cookies, very unhygienic. it is concerning to see so many terrible reviews about the staff in this outlet yet nothing seems to have been done. never coming to this outlet again.

Was there abt 7.30pm this evening, and there was no crowd. Maybe the sales girl was tired working on a weekend, but that doesnt give her the right to get the wrong order. The reason why im fuming is because due to her own negligence that she got the wrong order, she vented and showed off her frustrations by throwing the cookies back into the display and slammed the sliding door to where they display the cookies. While all that happening i added on to get double choc and she was not rude but she kind of raised her tone to make sure she get it right and as though its my mistake if i didnt see the description of the cookie on display. I feel like telling her, hello there is no other double choc so do i have to say the whole description to her?! Im not a frequent nor recent customer but i have been staying in woodlands since 1997 and see the mall changed vendors. And this famous amos shop has to be the one and only outlet that have very poor customer service!

very bad customer service from the staffs in this branch, as described by other reviewers. have bought from this branch several times over the past few months. red-haired staff has an attitude for no apparent reason, always handling the cookies and the cash register aggressively. i witnessed female indian staff handling cookies with her bare hands, no gloves. i've also witnessed some staff working with no uniform. i do not recommend anyone buying from this famous amos branch. i will be extremely disappointed if nothing is done about this behaviour. other customers complained about similar behaviour 2 months ago and it doesn't seem as if anything has been done to improve it.

I bought double chocolate chip with pecan cookies and they tasted like chips more cookies??? Ive been a long standing buyer of famous amos cookies and I definitely know how my favourite cookie tastes like, and this was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Are you guys losing your cookie batter standards or cheating our money?????
