Fish & Co.

This is ultimate surprising, but I have always walked past this restaurant, but never tried it. He said he took me there when I was very young, but I forgot. Anyways, I actually really like the Peri Peri chicken! And we got a free calamari because it is daddy’s birthday month!

Ordered the Combo for 2paxs - Grill peri-peri chicken & lemon butter white fish coupled with sides of prawns, paella rice, fries & seasonal veg. The mains tasted good, prawns were delicious. Overall a good meal in a nice quiet ambience.

I seldom go fish and co. Experience really no good. I don't even want to give a star for them, but because if you don't put a star, you cannot give your review here. Firstly, at 2pm 4 dec AMK branch, there wasn't any crowd. My son and I walked into the restaurant. The only Chinese waitress that was on duty at this hour gave us a seat at the middle which is facing the entrance. I requested for a window seat which she acceded with my request reluctantly. Secondly, when I ordered only a meal, she said to me sarcastically: "that's all? No sharing of meal." I won't be here ever again and the food is not really fantastic. There is plenty of seats at this hour and why she chose to give us a seat in the middle that people walk in and out. No sharing of food? What kind of policy is that? What if we are small eater? What if my son cannot finish the food? Does it means that they rather feed the rubbish bin than human? How to promote a green Singapore with this kind of food wasting attitude? I just cannot understand the rational of this policy. I buy the food, IS MY RIGHT TO EAT AS I WISH!!!!!!!! I enclosed the photo of the rude Chinese crew which is clad in blue that I mentioned as she didn’t wear a name tag.

Seldom go to Fish & Co as i don't find it's really worth it. But my parents wanted to celebrate my dad's birthday here. As always, food was average. Just like fast food. Service hasn't improved much. Our waitress was half wearing her mask and sniffling... even when she served our food and drinks. And then because it's my dad's birthday month, he tried to sign up for the membership. And some Moxi(?) pte ad popped up and he thought it was for the Fish & Co membership. So they charged him. The staff there were pretty unhelpful too. In the end, they were still insistent it's not their fault, and he has to cancel the card. So much trouble.

Seems like Fish and Co has had something of a revamp. Great quality on the premium fish options, I had the haddock while the basic one was great value for its price point. The seafood platters are massive
