Finally stepped in to try this place. There ain't any queue on a weekday night. Never know its so popular until I checked the reviews. Tried the red Tom Yum gai pot and the portion was v generous. Able to ask for less spiciness during ordering and the taste was awesome. Reminded me of a similar restaurant called Sakura. Will visit again to try the other dishes.

Nice dining experience. Especially if you are in crowded Nex on a weekend night and don’t feel like waiting in line for 1-2hrs. Food was decent. Boys finish all the chicken. Tom Yang was a pleasant surprise. Perfect mix of sweetness and acidity. The omelet was so so. The red ruby was a bit disastrous. Too sweet to go with ice cream. No added point. Service can be better. The waiter uncle took away the plate when I still want to finish the last piece of omelet. Guess efficiency was prob their KPI…

Fairly decent chicken rice but doesnt quite hit the mark in terms of flavor and rice texture. However, their other dishes are good! So I'd wouldn't focus on the chicken rice and just consider this a spot for a nice family dinner

Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice – Decent Food, A Small Glitch & A Bit of Chaos I visited Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice around 4pm for a late lunch. The place wasn’t crowded, so I thought I’d be in and out pretty quickly. I sat down and scanned the QR code to place my order: * Single Portion Chicken Rice – $5.50 * ABC Chicken Soup – $6.90 While waiting, I noticed two elderly ladies at another table who were having trouble with the QR code. They tried asking the staff to help, but the staff member an older uncle didn’t seem too patient. His voice got pretty loud, and the situation was clearly stressful for everyone. Honestly, it was a bit uncomfortable to watch. Meanwhile, I kept waiting... and waiting. After about 15 minutes, I still hadn’t received my food, so I went up to ask. That’s when I overheard the staff saying, “Printer no paper.” So the kitchen never received my order. Just one of those tech hiccups. Luckily, once they noticed, my food came shortly after. The chicken rice was simple and clean soft, poached chicken with lightly fragrant rice, and a Thai-style chilli that was more sweet-spicy than garlicky. Not bad at all, just different from the local hawker-style.
The ABC Chicken Soup was the real highlight: warm, full of flavour, with soft vegetables and tender chicken. Very comforting and worth the price. 💵 Total: $12.40
🍽️ Food: Decent, especially the soup
🛠️ Experience: Slight hiccup, but sorted
💬 Bonus: Just lucky I like to use QR code if not, maybe I also kena confused like the aunties 😅 Follow me on IG for more food adventures:@Johnnykuochung

Chicken rice portion is decent. Service from May is friendly and polite. Always a safe option if you are craving for Thai chicken rice - thanks for bringing a taste of Thailand to Singapore!
