Han's
Han's at Suntec pleasantly surprised me, especially on Valentine's Day, as it wasn't as crowded as expected. What stood out was their transparent pricing policy – the displayed prices are all-inclusive, with no additional service charges. This made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I opted for the dory fish set and fish & chips, both of which were cooked to perfection and left me thoroughly satisfied. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal or catch-up with friends. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu!
Me and my colleague ordered the April promo Hainanese pork chop separately and we were both asked what Hainanese pork chop. Seems like the promo and regular menu item have different standards? This is what I received in the end (photo). Taste dry, tough and tasteless and lacking much resemblance to regular Hainanese pork chop. Very disappointing.
Very bad food. Seasonal roasted chicken with orange sauce was a nightmare to eat. Frozen taste and the roasting is more like steamed chicken heated up in oven. 😂 20 dollars for a half awful tasting spring chicken. The alio olio spaghetti is also tasteless. The standard has dropped badly We waited for half and hour for our lunch cos there's only 3 person working during lunch time. If Han's management is reading this, you better get your kitchen and manpower sorted. You're going to loose a lot of customers.
19 Sep 2020 - dine-in for 2 persons at 9pm, Post Circuit Breaker Phase 2. 3.5 - 4 stars for cooked food. 1 star for cakes and pastries. Egg mayo in the sandwich was tasty. Teh si kosong gao smooth and fragrant. Took away some curry potato puffs and they were disappointing - very little filling and too much pastry, pastry was flaky but very oily and not buttery taste. Standards of their cakes and pastries dropped since many years back when they started their central kitchen. The staff were very anxious to close up and go home before it was 10pm. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 16 Nov 2019 - 9pm supper for 2 persons. 3.5 stars. Came by after shopping as another eatery that I wanted to go to was closed. Had a fried rice with ham, shrimps and egg, and teh c kosong gao. The fried rice was tasty and a big portion - more than enough for the 2 of us to share. Only didn't like that they used frozen mixed vegetables in it. Teh c was just so so. Was smooth but didn't have a very good tea flavour. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Pay and collect your order when ready. Not much service here. And they close at 10pm, so can't hang around after that. The fish and chips here are quite good too - had it on a previous visit.
This is the place i have my morning tea almost every day in a work week. The thing i like is the back rest chairs and the chairs are much more comfortable than the rest of these toast chains. Local fare here is certainly better than their western. Do have a try, their curry chicken set, with soup and drink is also recommended.
