Visited on 16 November 2025 Had a pleasant dining experience at Ichiban Sushi. The food was pretty good overall, offering solid value for money — definitely bang for buck. One thing I really appreciate is that the restaurant employs elderly staff. It adds a warm, community feel to the place. In particular, an uncle staff member stood out for his politeness and helpfulness. When we requested a fork and spoon for my elderly mum, he responded promptly and kindly, which made the meal more comfortable for her. Overall, Ichiban Sushi delivered both in terms of food quality and service.
Service lousy, manager serve food except customer to mover the dishes. Unacceptable service level. See how dirty the glass wall, food is not up to standard, the pork is smelly see the photo. ALREADY CONTACTED BUT THERE IS NO REPLY FROM YOUR SIDE, GOING TO 1 WEEK STILL NO REPLY
Value-for-money, good food, attentive service. I first dined at this outlet more than 10 years and it has consistently provided quality and comfort Japanese food over the years - a testament to its longevity. Good job! 👍
Food is tasty and fresh. Seaweed for Hand roll is fresh and crispy. For Salmon head other outlet take longer time to serve and usually the last item to reach us, i’m surprise it came in between my other orders. Kudos to Chef. Service was good but can be better. other outlet had their waitress going around to top up our hot green tea, here we have to request for top up. Overall Good experience
Impressed with the prompt delivery of condiments and food despite it being dinner time. Rice bowls were the best in our opinion - we got the unagi and aburi mentai kaisen don. Fried salmon skin was a little disappointing, not as thinly cut and crispy as expected. Spicy mayo cheese scallop was underwhelming too. Nevertheless, portion was huge for both the set meal and rice bowl. It was a very filling meal!
