IKEA Jurong

A well-organised and pleasant IKEA store with a great selection of furniture, homeware, and everyday essentials. The layout is easy to navigate, and the showroom displays give lots of practical ideas. Service is good, and the overall shopping experience is smooth. The restaurant is also a nice bonus for a quick meal after shopping.

This IKEA store in the JEM shopping mall in Jurong East is my go-to place for all things IKEA - as it is nearer to where I live (I live in Hillview) than the one in Alexandra and certainly than the one in Tampines. And it is as well stocked and houses as wide a variety of products in my opinion as the other two IKEA stores in Singapore. By the way, I also come to this IKEA store for the IKEA Swedish Restaurant on the fourth floor for its very good and very reasonably priced food and beverages.

3 levels of home furnishings with a food section and cafe on level 4. However only card payment is accepted here which is not tourist or senior friendly. Wish the layout of the place can be better. Overall, it is a place I would shop for home furnishings and get some fresh ideas. Also, the exit signs are only in English and can be a bit confusing, so look for the escalator to go up or ask for assistance to exit. There are no toilets inside.

Informed the staff Mr.Fazly there are some broken sharp staples on the side board. Children's were near by and could get hurt. He went about doing his own duties without taking any actions. I stood there waited but still no action taken. I walk to Mr Fazly and ask again if someone would be coming to remove the staples. Mr Fazly looked at me and asked "You have children playing around here?" I leave it to you to decide what did he actually meant when he said that..... I understand everyone may have a bad day. However, as public safety was a concern, I had to approach Mr Fazly to get the situation rectified. I am glad to say Mr Fazly went and took out a small screwdriver to remove the broken sharp staples. Happy safe place for children in IKEA once again. Date of incident 01 Jan 2026. Time of incident reported 17:35pm.

Love window shopping at IKEA, casually walking through 3 levels. Sofa section is always seated with people 😂 The restaurant is always full whenever I visit, difficult to find seats. The 50 cents ice cream is so worth, taste like Mr. Bean soy ice cream. Paid at cashier, get the IKEA coin, slot into the ice cream machine, tada, enjoy!
