I'm Kim Korean BBQ & Shabu Shabu

Made a reservation in advance. There is further discount for some time slots. Friendly service crew, prompt clearance for used plate. Place can be crowded when more customers are on as the distance between tables is near. Selection of food for sabu sabu and grill is separated. Standard seafood like prawns, clams and squid but no fish. Chicken wings are crispy and flavourful. Runs out fast. Got to wait.

While making online reservation, I indicated in the special request column that the dinner was meant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Unlike other dining places that usually prepare a small gesture, nothing happened which left me wondering what was the purpose of the special request column 🧐🧐 The food was alright, though I’ve had better Korean BBQ elsewhere. On the positive side, I appreciate that the staff were attentive and hardworking, they cleared plates promptly 🙏 It would be even better if there were more meat options, including plain cuts with lighter seasoning or no marinade, as not everyone prefers heavily marinated choices.

Came on a Saturday about 1230h; no crowd. Senior discount of $15.50/pax Typical Korean BBQ & Shabu Shabu spread - adequate variety. Also have cooked food of Korean fried chicken, fried noodle, fried fish. Drinks included. Service staff were very attentive & prompt. Would have been perfect if there was coffee to conclude the meal (like typical restaurant in Korea) Overall a delightful dining experience.

My 3rd time dining this new korea bbq restaurant (buffet). It is a bbq cum shabu shabu. 1st visit - early dinner promotion Went for their early dinner promotion when they opened few months ago. Chose their pork collagen as shabu shabu broth. The collagen broth was so thick and yet not salty. There were seafood such as prawn. All their marinated meat (beef, chicken and pork) were tasty and not salty at all. Ice cream is given per head count. 2nd visit - normal afternoon price Was told collagen broth was oy avaliable for dinner, only a few broth flavour to choose from. I don't recall what which flavour I have choosen. And i didn't quite like the taste. No seafood and a few items were not at the counter (such as one less dessert, meat etc) for afternoon. I think the number of choice of food is quite reasonable for afternoon. The food is not salty. Ice cream is still available. 3rd visit - early dinner promotion Chose their collagen as broth. Noticed the taste of broth is not as thick as last time. But it is still nice. This time round I noticed that there is chili baby squid which is quite soft and tender. I thing I like about this restaurant is that their marinated meat is still flavourful and not salty. Improvement: The restaurant is not crowded, I hope the staff can take more initiative to change the bbq paper for us. Otherwise they were quite attentive to clear used bowl and plates. I also hope you can relook at the collagen broth. The taste is not as thick as last time. Keep up the good work. Will definitely dine this restaurant again. Love the food is not salty and is also flavourful at the same time.
