Bakuton Ramen
Using extra-thick, wavy noodles created specially for this ramen, every bite is firm yet bouncy and chewy. The broth combines our signature tonkotsu pork broth with a deeply flavourful chicken broth in a delicate balance, delivering a richer aroma and umami. Topped with a generous slice of Kurobu

GB. Suntory Black Oolong Tea

IPPUDO MARINA BAY SANDS
As one of the most famous Ramen shops it was a welcome surprise to see so many in Singapore. The first mouthful of the broth which is velvety and silky with so many layers was utterly divine. It reminded me of the book Butter, and how meals are loved and savoured by Kajii. The deep fried enoki mushrooms are delicious and the eggplant was meaty really well grilled but didn’t fall apart in the broth. Finally, the wavy noodles could’ve been a little harder, but all in all I didn’t want the dish to end it was so good. Recommend to eat it only. I have also ordered this for take out and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not the same consistency and eating out of a paper tub just isn’t the same. I also asked for more enoki mushrooms and Nikki + William both assured me it was bamboo shoots even though Cici had told me they were mushrooms - anyway, I was charged for ingredients I didn’t want as the servers do or don’t know what’s actually in the dishes. This is a shame! I was hoping for deep fried goodness but instead was disappointed, and out of pocket as I did not eat the bamboo shoots.
The ramen was good, flavourful, nice texture, and the spicy level was acceptable. But honestly, all of that was overshadowed by the horrible service. One of the female staff at the cooking station (no spectacles, hair tied up) was unbelievably rude. I approached her politely to ask where the washroom was since there were no signboards around. I asked in Chinese first and she immediately showed me an annoyed, impatient face. Ok then I tried again in English and she actually replied:You go find yourself, there are a lot of toilets in this mall. What made it worse was that my period suddenly came, and I urgently needed a washroom. That’s exactly why I asked, I didn’t want to run around the mall and end up going the wrong way. But instead of helping, I was treated with attitude for no reason. (Ok I understand that she might not know what my situation is but I still don’t think her reply is correct) I was stunned. Is this really how you speak to customers? I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. Just basic directions. The attitude was completely uncalled for and honestly ruined my mood. I left feeling angry and extremely disappointed. Good food means nothing if the staff treat guests like they’re a burden. I genuinely hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should be spoken to like that, especially when asking for help in an urgent situation. Maybe your staff is tired to deal with travellers but they should understand that not everyone is Singaporean thanks :)))
I visited this ramen place recently (27 Nov 2025, 6pm), and overall the food was acceptable. The ramen broth was just so-so, and the meat was extremely thin, super, super thin which made the bowl feel a little less satisfying despite the tenderness. Unfortunately, the ambience was not great. I was seated at the bar counter beside the serving area, and the experience was negatively affected by a group of male staff (seems to be malaysians, talking about their room rental etc) who were talking about a female customer in an inappropriate way. They were asking their coworkers to look at her and comment on whether she was “beautiful.” It was gross, unprofessional, and genuinely disturbing to overhear, especially in a customer-facing area. That aside, they kept talking loudly on personal things the entire time while working, at the top of their voice. On a positive note, I want to praise the lady, Cheryl who served me. She was super polite, attentive, and very professional throughout my visit. She served my meal and processed my payment with professionalism, kindness and efficiency. Shout-out to her (Cheryl) for maintaining such high standards of service, she truly made the experience abit better despite the uncomfortable atmosphere.
Food and service here are a joke. $22 for ramen that should’ve been left in culinary rehab. I can’t believe this is Ippudo. The fall from grace at this location is astonishing. Every bite screams cost-cutting desperation. The chashu slices are so paper-thin they practically disintegrate on contact, impressive knife skills if the goal was to slice through atoms. After mixing in the sauce, I had to literally fish for what was left of my broken, vanished chashu swimming in the soup. Opted for the extra spicy ramen, only to discover they just dumped the same chili powder from the table that unfolded elegantly from the sauce. Genius move. Why bother having different levels of spiciness to choose from when I could’ve seasoned it myself? As for service, we stood outside the empty restaurant while the staff inside shouted “Irasshaimase” 5 times like a distress signal before someone finally noticed us. This isn’t ramen anymore, it’s a cry for help in a bowl.
The ramen were tasty. Food came out quickly, around 10 minutes waiting time. Orders are placed through an app rather than directly with the waiter, which is quite convenient. Price-wise a bit expensive for a shopping mall, but overall a good experience.
