Ordered 3 sides n 2 drinks. Good place to dine-in during catch up n seats r readily available. Staff were quick to approach us at d entrance n smiled at us 👍🏻 Brussel sprouts n 🌽 were well-prepared. Wish d fries cld b served "hotter" instead of semi-lukewarm. Cloudy apple drink is nice. Iced water is chargeable. Most restaurants will allow free flow iced/warm water as long as a drink/pax is ordered with them. Management, u may wish to consider :) Ordered via QR Code. "No nuts" option is available for most dishes.
Been in this restaurant for many times bcos i love their food so much! Prawn Aglio-aglio & chicken truffle creamy past are my favorites, of course the beef too (which i didnt order today). Beef ragu pasta is yummy too. Their Customer service was superb. Kudos to Novena Team!🫡
Difficult to score a lower level than this. Avoid. From the moment I arrived, the experience was already unpleasant. The man at the front door, Mr. Ray, was rude, aggressive, and highly unprofessional. No courtesy, no welcome—just an attitude that makes you feel like you are doing the restaurant a favour by walking in. Service inside was just as bad. The waitress was clearly not attentive on purpose, repeatedly turning her head away to avoid eye contact so she wouldn’t be asked for anything. This was not accidental. Now the food—where do I even start. • Calamari: completely over-fried, dry, tasteless. • Side dishes: bland, uninspired, and clearly an afterthought. • Drinks: average at best, nothing memorable, certainly not worth the price. The real disaster was the tomahawk steak. Ordered medium rare. What arrived was an absolute joke. The meat was poorly cooked, extremely hard, and nearly impossible to cut even with a proper steak knife (see photo). The texture was awful—half burnt on the outside, hard inside even at the medium rare parts—which immediately made me suspect it had been frozen for God knows how long. A huge red flag should have warned me earlier: “This is the only tomahawk available today.” Now I understand why. It tasted old, mishandled, and completely disrespected as a cut of meat. For the price charged, this is unacceptable on every level. Conclusion: Overpriced, badly cooked food, rude front-of-house behaviour, deliberately inattentive service, and zero accountability. This place feels like a tourist trap, banking on one-time visitors who won’t come back anyway. I won’t be returning—and I strongly recommend others stay away.
Had a very pleasant dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly, which really added to the meal. The mashed potatoes were especially delicious and definitely a highlight. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d be happy to dine here again.
19.12.25 ~$270 for 6 mains, 2 desserts, 2 drinks with tap water at 50c a glass / I know Lamb Chops are usually fatty, but my Rack of Lamb, I am really speechless. I literally have to cut n scrap for the little offerings of meat from the thick slab of fats!!... Either they change supplier or dun have it on the menu. Went home still need to buy a bao to eat. My Mango n Pineapple Salad was only a shivers of mango n 1 tiny winny pineapple, as compared with my friends' orders.
