Tried Kei Kaisendon at this location and really enjoyed the experience. If you’re looking for a fuss-free Japanese meal with fresh sashimi rice bowls, this place delivers. We ordered the Salmon Kaisendon and Chirashi Kaisendon. The salmon was buttery, fresh, and melted nicely in the mouth. The chirashi bowl was well-balanced with a generous variety of sashimi, all tasting clean and fresh. Portions were satisfying, and the set comes with miso soup and salad, which made it a complete and comforting meal. Great spot for a quick yet quality Japanese lunch or dinner, especially if you value freshness. Will definitely return to try other bowls.

If youre craving for a decent unagi, then you can consider this place! The unagi is tender and the sauce has a tinge of sweetness to it. The mentaiko is light and fluffy, which complements the whole dish. The tofu is soft, silky and a little tang from the yuzu citrus, which is a good contrast to the flavour of the whole unagi meal. Good to consider if you work around the area for lunch!

The food here was ok and portions were decent, quite filling without being overwhelming. The rice bowls were nicely presented with fresh ingredients and the sides (salad, miso soup and gyoza) made the meal feel complete. I enjoyed the variety of flavors and textures in each bowl. Staff were very nice, attentive and made the dining experience pleasant. Service was quick and smooth and the atmosphere of the place was cozy and comfortable for a casual meal. Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

Overall, my experience was generally good. The food was served quickly, which I really appreciated. Upon arrival, the staff clearly explained the available benefits and encouraged me to leave a review — she communicated it very clearly and politely.

All the most recent reviews over the past week(s) look a little too good to be true hahahahaha. Honestly, they seem suspiciously bought. If you’re looking for a relatively more realistic review, here I am. I was one of those who got convinced by all the shiny new five-star ratings and decided to give this place a try. I ordered their signature Kaisendon (regular size) with the cold tofu meal (green tea, cold tofu, salad). In all fairness, the quality of the fish isn’t bad! It’s fresh enough, and decent enough too so no complaints there. But once I finished picking out all the cucumber pieces, this was what I was left with… You can refer to the image. I legit haven’t started eating the fish yet :( was just picking away at all the cucumber first. If you told me this was a regular-sized Kaisendon, I honestly wouldn’t have believed you LOL. After GST, my total came up to about $28. For that price, the portion just didn’t feel worth it. Quality was okay, but not enough to justify the quantity. :( I understand that rent can be high in Suntec but this was a little sad.
