McDonald's Jewel

Stopped here because my pregnant wife wanted some fried and a coke float. Fries were cold, and they are straw free which is fine but when we order a coal float there is no way for us to drink it now… Edit: one of the staff members saw we didn’t have a straw and gave us one. Before that though we asked the lady at the service counter and she said no we can’t have one. Thanks to the friendly worker though for looking out for us. It’s a paper straw so not sure why they are against giving them out so much.

Smaller than normal mcflurry portions. We had been waiting at the counter for awhile, asked the staff if our order is ready, he told us to wait for the number to be called - fair, waited some more, everyone had collected their food, we were still waiting, asked them again… and guess what our ice cream was sitting behind the counter and when we received it, 1/3 melted. I mean, not expensive ice cream but come on. Visited 16 Jan 9:45PM.

Self-service ordering kiosks are available, with table delivery and credit card payment options. However, meal preparation times are slow.

The staff here is extremely unfriendly. Our kids want to eat Mc Donald. My husband and I want to try other food. The other restaurant told us we can order food from them and bring it over. By the time we have our food, the McDonald staff was unfriendly told us no outside food allowed. It was just a big open space and the other restaurant is just next to it. This is beyond ridiculous and unnecessary rules because this means family can’t eat together with variety of food. We had a lot of fun first time at Jewel visited from SF. This evening event is pretty much ruined by these two restaurants. We ended up not able to enjoyed our meal as a family, and pretty much we didn’t eat our dinner at all. The restaurant next door was at least okay for us to bring the kids over, but McDonald manager insist outside food is unacceptable. We didn’t want to disturb our kids meals.. we have to wait for them to finish. We didn’t really ate our food.. because the mood is ruined. Don’t come to this McDonald with family. They are not friendly at all.

You think they would take note of their appalling reviews and do something about it… Embarrassing service in all honesty. I am currently still waiting for my food we ordered over 40 minutes ago. No such thing as ‘fast food’ here. Considering this is at an airport where people are limited by time to catch a flight, it’s not on. I would avoid this branch The positive is that the quality of food is good
