Reviews
Mei Heong Yuen Dessert @ Novena
I always go for the nutritional traditional paste dessert. They are smooth textured & not very sweet. I like the black sesame (for hair) and almond paste (good for general health). You can self control the amount of sweet syrup for the Chendol shave ice. However, it’s quite a wait for our order to be ready sometimes. It’s a great place for desserts.
We usually eat here after have some food within the velocity area. The Yam paste taste good not too sweet, snow iced dessert also so good. I like the most the mango pomelo sago. A bit pricey but worth it. The shop is a bit small.
They have both hot and cold desserts. Everything my family and I tried was tasty and nicely prepared. Some of the desserts can be pricey. The place can get quite crowded at certain hours.
Quite small bowls for the price and the thickness of the desserts can be better. Thankful tt it’s not too swee though.
I really love their desserts. Ever since the day I tried their chendol snow ice with my mum, I’ve kept coming back to try the different desserts they offer. I’ve also tried their pastes, such as black sesame, walnut, and peanut, and I love them too!
