There was a good selection of ramen with different types of broth base. I feel the price is reasonable and the serving portion and quality/ taste is pretty standard too (compares well with most of the other food establishments serving ramen). It didn’t stand out a lot compared with the rest of ramen restaurants, but it is definitely good enough for me to return. The space is small and cosy. At first we were seated beside a table of 4 that were talking so loudly that we can practically hear all the details of their daily lives, but was glad they finished before us and was replaced by another quieter group. Tables are close to one another but not the worst. The staff were very efficient and friendly, and food was served pretty promptly too despite the crowd. That is a plus and is one of the important factors I consider if I were to return to the restaurant.
Cosy ramen shop. Pretty wide selection of ramen and donburi. Had the best seller. Broth was flavorful. Ramen and toppings good. Not thirsty 🤭 after the meal. Very reasonably priced. Service is fast. Lunch special is good value. Will come again if I am in the area.
Ordered the Tantanmen for lunch. The noodle portion was so small, is it because of the 50% off promotion? Same for the minced meat, it was only a tiny bit as compared to the picture from their menu. Only the broth was delicious and satisfying. And they used to have two machine for ordering but now it's gone. The whole restaurant I can only see one staff taking orders, cooking and then collecting payment / scanning member points. The staff greets every customers but he seems to be in a rush in everything, including serving my noodle. I wanted to order a drink too but he just went off quickly to collect payment from another customer.
Ordered the garlic tonkotsu ramen ~$15 ✅ very thin and firm noodles ➖ broth is a bit on the oiler side but is quite milky/creamy and thick ✅ love the chasu - it’s v lean but vvv thin slice tho(?) ✅ free flow beansprout ➖ noodle portion is slightly lesser than the usual ramen shop but it’s sufficient for a quick lunch ➖ literally sparse amount of ingredients haha Love that it’s easy to find a table over weekday lunch hours. Interior q pretty too!
Ramen and gyoza are both decent, but unfortunately there are just too many good japanese ramen available in Singapore for me to give more than 3 stars.
