Dined at Menya Kokoro, Suntec City on 3 Jan around 6.15 pm. We came as a group of 10. Service was good and attentive, and the atmosphere was top-notch. The menu has a lot of variety. We ordered quite a spread, from sides to mazesoba and ramen. Overall, most of the food was good. The mazesoba was the clear winner of the night, really well done and the most memorable dish for me. The ramen was fine and enjoyable. The only letdown was the tsukemen. I was expecting thicker, chewier noodles like a proper tsukemen, but what we got felt like undercooked thick noodles. The dipping soup was also a bit too watery and light, so it didn’t cling to the noodles well. The flavor itself was okay, but the overall tsukemen experience could be better in my opinion. Price-wise, it’s on the higher side. Our bill came close to $250 for the group. That said, I would still recommend this place to anyone, especially for the mazesoba and the overall dining experience.

This is our third visit. Their lunch specials are really worth it. Main's portion is just right for us and it comes with drinks (tea), dessert (fruits) and one sides. My wifey loves their mazesoba. Staff is friendly and rather efficient even when they are busy. Ordering is via a QR code scan and you pay when you are done. The noodles texture is done just right.. not too soggy! Today we saw that they had added vegan option to their menu which is great. I would encourage you to give it a try when you are in the area.

Located at a hidden corner of the huge Suntec City shopping mall, Menya Kokoro sits humbly at level 3 of the North Wing, tucked at a corner in the handful of restaurants available at the food & beverage dedicated floor. Together with other food establishments, it sits there quietly, waiting for loyal patrons and eager customers to visit the restaurant for a taste of Japan. Though I visited during the peak dinner period with my family, there were plenty of seats available @ Menya Kokoro and we were ushered promptly by the staff on site. I was fascinated by the fine details of the restaurant, with the Halloween decorations (since I visited it on 26 October 2025) complementing the already present Japanese dining atmosphere. We were given the menu and the staff were kind in assisting us with the menu explanation since we are always curious about the chef dish of the day in set menu, as well as other dishes exclusive to this Menya Kokoro outlet. The menu was simple yet contains a vast Japanese meal options, from popular ramen sets to Tsukemen (noodles with specialty sauce) and their signature Mazesoba noodles. They even have bento selection available to pair with side dishes for a fulfilling set meal. We eventually settled on their popular ramen set, which includes fried Seaweed Chicken mixed with sauce and the Lemon Honey drink. We also ordered French fries, Asari soup with clams as well as the fried chicken for dinner. The ramen set was served with a decent noodle portion, with nori seaweed, cha shu, bamboo shoots and vegetables as the complementing ingredients. The noodles are springy and exclusive to Menya Kokoro, similar to the ones used in Mazesoba and Tsukemen. The ramen soup is especially delicious, with each sip worth more to treasure, thus making it a popular choice amongst chef recommendation and customer favourites! The fries comes with seaweed or truffle flavour, with each having their distinct taste and making the fast food less dull. The fried chicken was fried to its standard and thus makes it enjoyable as a side dish. Onto the Asari Soup with clams, it is not salty while retaining its quality taste, as well as a generous clam portion since it covers the soup, making it nice to dip into the soup and enjoying its texture in a Japanese seafood dish. Last but not least, the fried seaweed chicken with soya sauce is a surprise and welcome, since it was my first time trying out the seaweed chicken and the sauce together. Needless to say, the Lemon Honey is a nice cold fusion that I love in this restaurant! I really have to say that none of the dishes disappoint my taste buds and appetite, making me eager to continue trying out other amazing dishes in the future! Thanks to Yan Xin and all staff for elevating our dining experience! We are truly grateful for making the right decision of enjoying full Japanese cuisine as our weekend dinner! Lovely customer service and terrific dishes worth trying! To all who loves Japanese cuisine and wonderful fusions, here is your must try out @ Menya Kokoro, tucked at Suntec City level 3, north wing, a floor dedicated to food & beverage that you shouldnt miss!

Came here for many years and the quality of food is always the same! Menu expanded to include izakaya items which were equally good too. Staff paid special attention that I was pregnant and offered to swap out my egg to a fully cooked one, appreciate that!

the maze soba is so good! at first feels the noodles is another too thick, but slowly as you eat tgt with the ingredients, it's so good add abit of homemade kombu vinegar to add a touch of sourish we had the super garlicky and vegan maze soba definitely be back
