Had this via delivery. Was very surprised as it was so delicious for a delivery. Though cold (because it 2as delivered and we didnt eat immediately), the ribs were still soft! Kansas sauce tasted loke dark soy sauce. Hickory bbq sauce was nice. Sides complemented the ribs very well. Stuffed roasted chicken was roasted well. I will order this set again for parties.
I finally tried Morganfield’s for the first time, and it was a pleasant surprise. We came in a bit late for dinner, and the waitress immediately warned us they were down to their last few ribs. We took them all — then they even dropped an extra rib onto our plate as a little gesture. The ribs themselves were excellent. The meat was tender, richly flavoured, easy to bite off the bone. Paired with friends, it made for a satisfying, hearty meal. The weekday evening crowd was light, which made it an ideal night out without feeling rushed or squeezed.
Feels good to know that this familiar restaurant serving their classic ribs is still around after so many years. The ribs are the same as 10-over years ago. There is root beer float as well 🤩. Note the portion is definitely big for a small eater like me.
Came craving ribs & they were delicious — tender, smoky & full of flavour. The truffle mac & cheese was creamy & the candied bacon added a fun sweet-savoury bite Visited on a Friday evening & it wasn’t crowded at all, so walk-in was easy. Relaxed vibe & hearty dishes overall. 🍖✨
BEWARE. Ordered full slab showed up extremely small. Compare to photo from menu this was half the size. We realised too late that it was too small to share for 2 and didn't have the time to wait for them to cook a 2nd order. Clear misrepresentation. I'd avoid this place. Won't be back Taste wise was good 8/10. Fries not great 5/10 didn't enjoy that. Coleslaw 6/10 mildly tangy served cold not bad.
