Mr.Onigiri

Have been seeing this eatery pop up in my feed so often and finally got a chance to try them out! We visited the Vivocity outlet and it was so cozy with a comfortable seating area. Our first time trying okinawa style onigiris in Singapore and it was a great experience - ingredients were substantial and tasty and if you top up for the set meal, it’s actually quite filling! 🍣 Teriyaki grilled salmon ($9.50) (+$4.90 set meal): The onigiri came with a large slab of fresh teriyaki salmon and paired with mentaiko sauce. The combination overall was great! We also opted for tater tots for sides and they were perfectly fried and crunchy 😋 🍣 Beefy kimchi onigiri ($9.50) (+$4.90 set meal): For a taste of Korean infused in onigiri, try out the beefy kimchi flavour and it was indeed a flavour bomb. The beef was tender and tangy with the kimchi and overall so satisfying. Curly fries was also a nice addition and addictive. For drinks, the set meal comes with hot or cold honey lemon tea which were so refreshing!

I’m obsessed 😍✨ Tried their teriyaki salmon onigiri — the rice is soft and warm, and the salmon? Flaky, juicy, with that sweet-savory glaze that hits just right. The grilled chicken onigiri was smoky, tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. Had to pair it with their tater tots and curly fries — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and totally addictive. Perfect snack vibes with every bite of onigiri 🥰🍟 If you’re around Vivo, this spot is such a quick, yummy, and kinda cute Japanese snack stop. Lowkey want to come back just for the salmon again… and maybe the fries too 😏

Tried Mr Onigiri at VivoCity and genuinely loved it. The onigiri here stand out because the fillings are generous, the seaweed has the right crunch, and every bite feels balanced instead of messy or overly salty. What I liked most was how fresh everything felt. You actually watch them wrap each onigiri, and the flavours don’t get lost inside the rice like many other places. If you take a full bite with all the fillings together, it genuinely hits different. A quick shoutout to the team because they made the experience even better. Jessi helped me pick the right flavours, and Ah Minh and Moh Moh wrapped everything so neatly. Super friendly staff and great energy. If you’re at VivoCity and want something quick, tasty, and filling, this is worth trying. I can see this place going viral once more people discover it.

Would totally recommend Mr Onigiri, visited both their outlets like almost 10 times and they never disappoint in their customer service and the wait time. Additionally the staff are understanding and nice, so if u have any special request they will be willing to help you out! Brought my friend and is so good for takeaway (as it’s quite eco and budget friendly) would def the Vivo outlet if u want a nice place to sit at B2 (like when u are tired from your long walk or need a meal/ snack). The best part is that is so much more cozy & the ambience is decent (not noisy at all) compared to other F&B outlets and we all know how ex cafe can be!!

Perfect place to chill and have your meal here. The onigiri is delicious and they have wide variety to choose from. Friendly staff to make your day brighter!
