Nam Kee Pau

Bought these two red beans bao from Nam Kee Bedok mall. Look at the shape and the yellowish color of this bao, it it normal? I doubt so. The filling is extremely dry and doesn’t taste fresh as well. To add on, this is not my first time get this yellowish bao from this outlet, previously I bought two char siew bao also having the same issues and the filling char siew obviously taste spoiled! What an experience, no next time! Big NAH!

The aunty’s attitude was super rude, May be is because we order in the early morning, aunty’s mood was not good. But the attitude of asking people to pay money, and also answer question should use a better way. Not a rude way, if ur staff don’t have a mood to do, please ask her to rest at home for a few days!! Thanks!

I laugh after looking at the last reviews, seems like I’m not the only one experiencing this rude aunty😂 I told her I want the “value set” she snapped back at me and say “不知道什么来的”，and say she only know “offer set” 😂… I mean there’s only one promotion going on what 😂 I dare not rebuke back scare she do something to my food lol. Hope the paus and sm taste better than her attitude haha

I ordered 3 Big Pau and 6 Char Siew Pau at NAM KEE PAU at Bedok Mall. Then when i saw the receipt the Auntie charged me 3big pau and 8char siew pau. I did not pay too much attention, coz i thought she would give me 8 char siew pau since she charged me 8 and the trust was there. I did not open the box too coz it was hot. Went home and check , it turned out she only gave me 6char siew pau. I felt like i was scammed. I have a photo to show, but i couldn't download here. Idk why.

I'm all for keeping our elderly active in the community and gainfully employed but the aunty here is very aloof and not very friendly.. sometimes even making sarcastic remarks when mode of payment inconveniences her. I still patronise but her attitude does make me think twice because no one wants to be treated nasty for a few paus right lol.
