Old Chang Kee

My wife and I were here today (17 DECEMBER 2025) for a drink and some dessert snacks after lunch. We ordered the following here today: two Black Sesame Balls, a a Green Bean Sesame Ball and a Kopi Siu Dai. As always, the dessert snacks and the Kopi here were excellent - the former were not overly chewy and its filling therein to be generous; whereas the latter was robust and flavourful. The service here was very good despite the constant stream of customers - friendly, patient and courteous. The dining ambience here was - due to size constraints - quite cramp-ish, but it is all right as diners are not supposed to linger here.

This is my favorite local snacks. I have been enjoying their fried snacks for the past 30 years. The fried chicken, nuggets, fishballs go well with local hot tea. We have a chance to try the new chicken pop with cheese. The staff was very generous with the cheese. We had our chicken soaked in layers of cheese. We enjoyed our supper.

This is the best teh gao from all old chang kee. The auntie who brew the drink in the morning is the best. Been supporting for many years. Absolutely awesome.

everything else is ok except for the packing food procedure pictures speaks itself imagine having to eat food that's packed like that having to clean before bringing it out to consume

I had no idea what's going on inside the female staff head but sure ignored customers when you see them queueing and ready to make orders. Male staff was good though.
