PUTIEN Marina Bay Sands

I often visit this location because I really enjoy the service, the friendly atmosphere, and the reasonable queueing times. I usually come here for lunch. The dishes are consistently well-prepared, and this time, when I visited with my friend's daughter, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary meal. It was a wonderful surprise, and we were all very happy about it. Overall, the flavours have always been consistent, and I definitely look forward to returning again soon!

I recently dined at Putien MBS and had a generally enjoyable experience with their Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered several dishes, and most of them were delightful. However, I must mention that the yam was quite dry on the inside. Despite bringing this to the attention of three different staff members, including the cashier, there was no rectification or alternative offered. We ultimately couldn’t finish the dish, which was disappointing. Overall, the positive aspects of the meal and the ambiance outweigh this issue, but I hope they can improve on feedback in the future. I would definitely return to try more of their offerings!

The dry noodles was nice. Evenly fried with good putien flavours. The tofu well braised . The sweet and sour pork was bad. Lumpy , doughy and not crispy. Does not taste like it was freshly fried. Any first timer cooking this dish would have turned out this way. Very disappointing. The service was extremely good. Attentive and efficient.

We have been to different Putien outlets before, but the Fujian Seafood Lor Mee at Putien MBS was the best! The Sweet & Sour Pork with Lychees, Stone Pot Homemade Bean Curd and Deep-fried Duck with Yam were also excellent. All dishes were served piping hot and the Putien signature spice mum Chili sauce is a great condiment to add to the dishes.

Overall, the flavors were clean and comforting, very true to Putien’s home-style cooking. The mushroom rice was fragrant, not oily, and had a nice umami aroma. The seafood noodles were light but full of sweetness from the broth. Service was decent and dishes came quickly. A good place if you enjoy simple, wholesome Fujian flavors.
