PUTIEN Tampines Mall

Had a very good lunch at Putien@Tampines Mall today. The service was super excellent and food delicious. The service staff were very attentive and helpful.

Food - Consistently good and homely food. We like it that they update their menu regularly and have seasonal dishes. They also have their regular dishes. Service - Warm and friendly. They do not rush you to take your orders. They also do not charge service charges. Atmosphere - Clean and spacious environment. We went during weekdays lunch time and it was quieter than the evenings and weekends. Overall we like the food, service, and atmosphere and have been coming here quite regularly for the food.

First time dining at Putien with my family. We tried these dishes; stir-fried chilli clams, deep-fried chicken with garlic, deep-fried tenggiri fish, and steamed prawns with minced garlic. All the dishes tasted like home-cooked food. The service was not bad overall. We didn’t know there was a kids’ meal, so it was a pleasant surprise when it came and was told it’s free—though it only arrived after we finished our food.

A prominent Singapore local cuisine. Order all their signature dishes here like the iconic yam, garlic chicken and Pu tien Lor Mee. Comfortable seating in groups with a good 40-50 tables available. Staff were very observant and constantly maintained attentive service to us whether topping up hot water to our tea or offering new plates. Great experience at this branch. Come early as it will get very packed during peak hours on weekends.

Was there for a family lunch, expecting tasty food to be quite disappointed. We ordered a couple of dishes and the tastes were barely satisfactory. Service wise, it was a little meh. Had to wave a few times before getting a response. Been to other outlet and the food standard differs quite greatly. The dry beehoon one was tasteless, the yam was bare minimum normal, the gourd was super bland. Remaining dishes are also off standards and taste quite average to below average. Portion was good so the 2 stars but for the price point against the taste, there are definitely better options out there. Overall, disappointing. Will not return again.
