Came here to get our swiss roll fix with my partner and friends on 2-Dec Appreciate the staff for going above and beyond for us in her service that day. The red velvet cheesecake for my BIL's birthday is well made and was an excellent choice, sadly we came abit late at night hence the durian swiss roll was sold out. we bought blueberry and mango instead and they were nice
I only tried their chocolate Swiss roll. It doesn't taste good. The chocolate is not of a good quality and the cream just tastes like cheap buttercream. Maybe the kaya should be better🙏🏻
I've bought your pandan rolls a thousand times, 80% of them were from this outlet. Always satisfied. A word of advice: garlic and kaya DO NOT go well. Don't try that fusion bs on your signature cake. The pandan roll that I bought on 8 Dec 2025 (Monday) was thoroughly infused with garlic, I even found a yellowish brown garnish inside. How..? Please tell your cooks to keep it together, it gets pretty disgusting when you imagine what actually happened. **chef chewing on chicken rice and stirring a pot of kaya, shouts out to his partner and a piece of his lunch is shared with the masses**
The sponge is soft and fluffy, and the kaya cream is rich, fragrant, and not overly sweet. I also appreciate that they offer a mini version, which is perfect for a small treat without overindulging. One suggestion for improvement: it would be great if they could offer basic cashless payment options—PayWave.
This is a takeaway kiosk from the famous local Swiss roll maker. I was surprised to find them having an outlet here at changi airport as I always thought that they had been very traditional, operating out of the old school shop at Kandahar street. Of course, since I’m here, I need to buy some back. The older folks had always preferred the Kaya ones whereas the kids preferred the chocolate roll. They have a long history here in Singapore. My missus has been buying from them for a long time now. Why we liked them so much? I think what my mum said summarized it all. It’s old school, traditional and very local. Their rolls do not have the very strong butter or milk taste to it which makes them easy to go down. One can simply down one roll in one eating.
