The cake is nice as the sweetness is just nice. I choose a chestnut cake (show in photo). Pricey but worth it if you are cake lover. My 3 stars given because I am not a cake lover non a cake hater so this is a fair rating. Overall: Neutral Cake design: Neutral Cream: sweetness is average sweet. Sponge: soft and loose.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was not that crowded. The male staff was kind and helped to pack the cakes into the fridge after I made payment as I had to run some errands before collecting them. The cakes were delicious and not that sweet.
Love their cakes and macarons. Their Guanajuato Chocolate Cake, Strawberry Short Cake and Tiramusi are a must-try for first-timers. 🍫🎂 Definitely won’t fail your tastebuds. Also try their macarons for a quick tea break, slightly sweet but great for afternoon coffee/tea. ☕️
Got the 5” Berries Charlotte and the birthday recipient loved it! Presentation was beautiful and cake was soft. Mountain of Strawberries paired with the mascarpone was perfect.
9 Jul 2021 - takeaway during Post Circuit Breaker Phase 3(Heightened Alert). 3 stars. Bought the strawberry shortcake and a dark chocolate macaron. Strawberries in the shortcake didn't taste good - funky sourish taste, and ruined the experience of eating the cake for me even though the sponge was light and not too sweet and the cream was fresh. Cake is definitely over-priced. Macaron shell was nice, crisp and slightly chewy but the ganache flavour wasn't really dark chocolate, tasted more like hazelnut.
