Reviews
Sen of Japan
Food was good as usual! But this time, service crew - Astrid was extremely observant and helpful. One of the best service we have received out of the few times we visited Sen of Japan. Attentive to our table, and even provided us with spoons before we could even ask for it.
Sen of Japan never disappoints. We dine here almost twice a month, and every visit is consistently excellent. Their manager Kevin and staff Dolly always provide warm, attentive service that makes us feel at home. The food is exceptional, especially the perfectly prepared Nodoguro and Kinmedai fish. Their wonderful selection of hot sakes pairs beautifully with every dish. Dont forget to try their Earl Grey Panna Cotta. Highly recommended!
Today I was invited to Sen of Japan at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. It is a modern Japanese restaurant and bar. It specializes in traditional Japanese cuisine with contemporary twists, featuring dishes like sashimi, sushi, donburi, wagyu steaks, and seasonal specialties, all enjoyed in an intimate setting with stunning views of the Singapore skyline. Service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. Ambiance gets high marks for being clean, elegant, and quiet if you book the room. If you’re looking for a solid Japanese dining experience with bay views at MBS, Sen of Japan is worth trying, especially for lunch specials or with discounts. Reservations are recommended, particularly for window seats. It’s best suited for those appreciating fresh seafood and attentive service, though budget-conscious diners might want to check portions via menus beforehand.
This is my second time having lunch here. Food is great. I enjoy it. You need an Amex card to enjoy the 50% love dining privilege to make it worth. Remember to make reservations beforehand.
Magnificent experience! Had lunch on New Year’s Eve before beauty and the beast and best choice ever. Try the mala maki which gives a subtle mala Punch which goes very well w the maki. What a great fusion dish! The king prawn ebi tempura is a mush and the mekajiki steak is WOAH! Super delicious! Love it! One thing to note, their refillable green tea is $5 per cup. Gosh! That’s abit too much!
