Seorae Korean Charcoal BBQ
The beef was juicy and tender, and the marination was tasty, but the cuts were inconsistent in size and shape. Looked like it was prepared by an inexperienced chef. The sides were also very tasty. The cabbage was well washed and very fresh. Very impressed with how they washed and prepared it. Definitely better than an ordinary bbq restaurant in Seoul. Service was so so only. They need a lot of training and improvements to make customers feel welcome. The background music was neither relaxing for customers to enjoy a meal nor rhythmically engaging for customers to feel excited. In general, the background music gave a feeling of unmatched noise for a restaurant. I think they should play better music.
Amazing experience at SEORAE JIB! The collaboration with Chef Yoon Nam-No from Culinary Class Wars was a game-changer. The dishes were expertly crafted, and the service was top-notch. The hay-smoked meats were tender and flavorful, and the Makkoli sorbet was a refreshing twist. Highly recommend the Pork & Beef set
Today came here after 9 months ago. The meat quality was still good . Just that the pork belly was slightly lesser than 9 months ago when came upon checking past photos . Staff Darryl was helpful in the BBQ process. He is patient and proactive. His BBQ skill is good and tasty for the assisted grilled meat.
One of my worst meals ever for the high price tag ($25/pax). Ordered a bowl with black angus beef oyster blade and I'm certain that they gave some cheap slices of beef instead - hard and overcooked (you can see my pictures). The vegetables side dishes and radish kimchi was bitter as well, probably leftovers for a long time. Also asked for ice water, server nodded and we never got them. I would stay far away from this place, or this branch in particular, unless you wanna waste your money like me..
Review of the food: 1. Smoked lamb - a bit tough 2. Beef short plate - very fatty, was delicious 3. Kimchi soup - healthy 4. Seafood pancake - very nice There is free flow side dishes and water. Used Eatigo discount, worth it!
