Simple restaurant serving good china food. The Zha Jiang Mian is splendid; Spicy Chicken Slices with dried chilli taste delicious too!

I’ve been here many times. Usually there’s only one staff running the place. Ordering is mainly via QR code, but I personally prefer the traditional way. Even during peak hours, She is still patient and willing to help me order, which I really appreciate. The Pan-fried bun here is nicer than other places — more crispy and very tasty. recommend 👍🏻

Shanghai Tan, kindly positively appraise your wonderful service personnel Ms Miya. She was very diligent, efficient and sincere in her service. She didn’t rush my friend and I off after we finished our meals and were discussing our work. She also patiently waited for my friend to fish out her coins as my friend has trigger finger. Such a nice young lady! The Sheng Jian Baos were so yummy! Definitely gg to be back! Thank you! 😊

Pretty good food here. Came to try this place because of the Grab promotion. Ordered 4 items. The best items in my personal opinion are the sheng jian bao and the fried rice with bacon egg and pork chop. I ordered the mixed sheng jian bao where there are 4 pieces, 2 of them are with prawns. This dish costs $7.80. If you choose the normal sheng jian bao, it'll cost $2 less. The sheng jian bao is choke full of meat and has a decent sized prawn. The soup inside is really hot so just be careful when you bite it. The other star of the show is the fried rice. The pork chop is crispy on the outside and also tender on the inside. I do like the way they did it so I ordered another set to take away. All in all, I'd come back here again if I crave good sheng jian bao.

The fried rice was flavorful, with each grain distinct and well-cooked. The gyoza was absolutely delicious, especially with its flavorful broth. The 小笼包 was enjoyable, likely made with the same flavorful soup base as the gyoza. The noodles had a pleasant chewiness and great taste. The soup dumpling was average. The Shanghai Tan pan-fried bun platter was decent, though I found the skin a bit too thick for my liking; otherwise, it was enjoyable. The pork chop was disappointing thou as it had too little meat, and the skin was too tough. The barley drink was just right and not too sweet. Overall a satisfying meal. This place is outside the mall and not too crowded. Great for a catchup with friends.
