Description
Their pad thai is a textbook lesson in wok heat—crispy rice noodles tossed with tamarind tang, crushed peanuts, and a whisper of fish sauce that just *works*. Go all-in on the green curry: coconut-rich, herbaceous, with chicken so tender it dissolves on your tongue. Insider move: order the som tam (papaya salad) if you want your taste buds genuinely shocked—they pound it fresh to order with lime, chilli, and that perfect balance of sour-spicy-umami.

Thai Accent
If you’re looking to skip the long queues during peak hours, this restaurant is a solid choice! The prices aren’t the cheapest, but the food quality has remained consistently delicious after all these years. Highly recommend ordering the Kang Kung vegetables, Chicken with Cashew Nuts, and Red Tom Yum Soup — all are excellent. You can probably skip the spring rolls, though, as they’ve dropped in standard recently. Bonus tip: Just ask for ice water — no need to buy bottled water even though it’s listed on the menu.
Ordered claypot king prawn noodle, but the prawn is nothing special, in fact, worse. Just look at the prawn portion. Barely any meat. Tang hoon noodle doesn’t make any better. PLEASE DONT PATRONISE THIS PLACE. Watermelon juice is $8 not even cold. Total with tax for two pax is $70.
Today I had a quick dinner at a Thai restaurant located in VivoCity. My table had a nice view overlooking Sentosa. Since I came around 4:30pm, the place wasn’t crowded and the food was served very quickly. I ordered Pad Thai and overall, the dish was tasty. However, I was disappointed that they used frozen shrimp instead of fresh ones. With the price point, I would expect fresh shrimp to be served. The total bill was $26 for the Pad Thai and a Thai iced lemon
When on a Sunday lunch around 2:30pm as there were little people in the restaurant. Waited at the entrance and had a few staff that saw us but ignored us. Overall food were served quickly and it tasted good, just had a small issue at the entrance that’s it.
When you do not wish to queue, this restaurant is an alternative but be prepared for the high price, especially if u ordered the fish. The only good thing is the access to the boardwalk from the restaurant for u to see the sunset.
