The Providore - VivoCity

Had dinner at Providore Harbourfront to celebrate a Friend’s birthday. The atmosphere was inviting, less crowd then and the food was great. Wide range of selection and I’ve enjoyed the food, accompanied by great friends. Special shout out to Belle. She is super friendly and efficient although short handed. Her presence made our dinner more homely and pleasant. The wine buffet is worth a try with wide range of selection. We can enjoy all wines with a wrist tag. Felt like a hospital patient🤭 but hey drink all you can.

Enjoyed our family dining here. The food from the menu are kids-friendly, otherws they also hv kids set meal. The wine buffet is worth going for, currently have a 30% off on wkends. Service is casual and friendly. The staff makes an effort to small chat with diners, just like friends :) thumbs up!

Decent selection of wine. We went for the 3 hours buffet, didn't mansge to try the entire list though. The space was good with friendly services. On the contrary, the dishes were weirdly sweet & believed those dishes should be savoury instead. I supposed anyone who came across main course like chicken or beef would presume to be savoury. These dishes served felt as if we were like having dessert.

Wine and dine at its best — a night of indulgence with a sumptuous spread and free-flow wine for 2 or 3 hours! Pure enjoyment from start to finish — sipping premium wines from the tap while savouring every delicious bite. The Nibble Board and Cheese Platter are perfect for wine pairing, and the Roasted Pork Jowl is a must-try — wrap it up for the full flavour burst! For mains, I had the Pan-Seared Barramundi, done the Mexican way — fresh, and satisfying. But the real star? The Braised Beef Ribs with Truffle Mash, chef-recommended and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Desserts sealed the deal — the Dutch Baby Pancake hits the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, while the Snow Cream Strawberry Cake gives that pure, sweet finish. A dining experience worth every sip and bite!

Visited Providore expecting more variety, but was disappointed. There are very limited vegetarian options, the soup of the day was unavailable, and there were no chicken dishes listed on the menu either. The staff didn’t seem well-informed about the food, whenever we asked about vegetarian items (including pizza), they had to go back to the kitchen to confirm. Overall, the experience felt unorganised. Tried grilled veg sandwich and pasta, they were okay, but not up to the mark. Clearer menu options and better staff knowledge would really improve the dining experience.
