TONITO Latin American Kitchen @ Jewel
At a time when it's tough for F&Bs in Singapore, I am happy and relieved to know that Tonito has not jumped the shark. I rather pay for a great experience and good food than something subpar. This is the third time I've had a meal at Tonito. This review is was the second time I was celebrating my birthday there in late December 2025, and it was even more enjoyable than the previous time I visited the restaurant. Set against Jewel Chang's vortex and lush Shiseido Forest Valley, the restaurant gives a calm atmosphere. Service that day was really good, with enough information for us to decide on our lunch choices. I ordered the Pescado Ala Planc, and the barramundi was cooked just right and paired deliciously with the sauce. We also tried a different side dish this time - the Elote, and we were all over it and couldn't stop because of the mix of the charred corn and its accompaniment was addictive. Generally, I found Tonito's chefs were able to let the natural flavours of the ingredients come through and that made me want to come back again to try their other offerings. Keep it up, Tonito team!!!
Visited Tonito Latin American Kitchen at Jewel for dinner tonight. The food was decent — flavours were generally okay, though not particularly outstanding. What really stood out was the service, especially from Pei Min. She was extremely polite, attentive, and very thorough in introducing the menu, patiently explaining the dishes and making recommendations. Her warm attitude and pleasant presence made us feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable throughout the meal. Overall, while the food itself was just alright, the excellent service significantly elevated the dining experience. Kudos to Pei Min for her professionalism and hospitality.
The food was absolutely amazing. Hands down my favourite latin restaurant, the quesadilla, paella, cocktails, mocktails, and the Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious the chicken was juicy and tender the cheese added another another level to the quesadilla. The quesadilla here is my favourite one I have ever eaten. It's amazing with the onion, mayo, chicken and cheese best combination you'll ever find. Highly recommended for those would love to find authentic Latin cuisine, with good quality food. There is also kids menu with drinks and desserts, even entertainment for them. This restaurant is absolutely amazing located in jewel level 2 is you're in jewel you absolutely have to visit it.
Stopped by Tonito for a quick bite before travelling. Service was fast and efficient, which was much appreciated. The views of the lush greenery and the sound of the vortex fountain created a very relaxing ambiance. No complains on the food too. The risotto was creamy, well-seasoned, and tasted great. The barramundi was perfectly cooked, and I especially enjoyed the cauliflower purée. Portions are a little small for the price, but overall it was a very enjoyable meal.
Tonito is beside the Rain Vortex, nice view. Vibes also chill and nice. We had the barramundi which was good. The prawn pasta was also tasty. So was the pork jowl rice. The mushroom pasta could have been more flavourful. The staff was friendly and nice.
