True Cost

My third visit to True Cost during Christmas Eve for dinner. The food are nice, some better than the others. In my opinion, the Lamb racks and Pork ribs are a must try. My personal favourite is the lamb racks, I think I will have it again on my next trip soon! Environment wise, the restaurant is situated in the Sky Garden with nice decor. However, I think that the air conditioners can be stronger, as the corner seatings can get quite warm. The integrated washrooms are well maintained and clean.

It was an okay dining experience. The ceviche was great, but I felt the rest of the dishes were somehow just ok. And the bill came up to over $300 (with a $95 bottle of wine) for 2 pax, which is pricey for a place where we had to pay a cover charge for “close to cost” food. The service was intermittent. It’s either all, or nothing. And the place for a Friday evening, was quiet. Great for dates or catch ups, except for the doof doof music from the outdoor bar next door.

Found this place on google, after reading all the good reviews on the website and decided to try it out. I liked the place, not overcrowded and the atmosphere was great. And we actually did try out the recommended dishes which are the crispy eggplant, roasted chick peas salad and the tiger prawns on ice. It was all so nice and yummy! I loved the crispy eggplant, the sauce blend so well with the eggplant! As for the main course, I ordered the grilled salmon and both my hubby and son ordered the ribeye. It was very nice too, we do enjoy all and we definitely will be back again! Lastly, must give compliments to their staffs, very attentive and friendly. Definitely a thumbs up for their excellent service and also the food of course!

Have been wanting to eat here, finally get to book it. Food is amazing! Atmosphere was perfect as we had window seats. Still don’t understand about the entrance fees part, felt like it’s just a concept to fit the restaurant name. Other than that, love this place and will definitely come back again!

Celebrated my birthday with my three sisters at True Cost last Thursday, and it was my very first visit. I was honestly impressed—even with all the hype I’d heard before, the experience still exceeded my expectations. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with every dish full of flavour and creative touches. We had a variety of items (sharing some photos here!) and loved every one. The ambience was relaxed yet stylish, making it perfect for a special night out. Service was attentive without being intrusive—special shout-out to Ms Ifah, who made our evening extra memorable by recommending such fantastic food and drinks. She really took the time to understand our preferences and suggested dishes that truly hit the spot. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate with my sisters. Looking forward to coming back again soon for another great meal! 😍
