Una Una
First time at Una Una after hearing rave reviews for a while. I decided to finally try it out as it has a decent pet-friendly alfresco area. We arrived around 2pm on a weekday and were the only table outdoors, though the indoor seating wasn’t crowded either. Despite the afternoon heat, the alfresco space was comfortable thanks to two strong overhead fans. First impressions were great as the menu offered a wide variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. The all-you-can-eat buffet was especially tempting, but I gave it a pass this time as the portions looked massive. I ordered the beef and unagi combo and the unagi turned out to be one of the best I have had in recent times. It was prepared well, with no noticeable soft bones. Alcoholic options were fairly priced, though I felt the non-alcoholic drinks could be more competitive. Still, that’s a non-issue given the overall value. Will return soon!
The unagi is good and reasonably priced, making it great value for money. I really enjoyed the lunch set in particular. However, the seating can feel quite cramped as the tables are very close to each other despite being different patrons. The ochazuke soup could also be more fragrant. The shop is also hard to find, as the storefront name doesn’t face the main corridor.
Unagi is quite good as they give it a good char on the surface. You can have it with the soup or just with rice. There’s also other items on the menu like sushi but that’s not really their speciality. Best to just stick with unagi. Service is adequate and worth a visit if you’re in the area and other restaurants are too crowded.
Service really good since the staffs are so nice. Their unagi is soft and not too sweet, but compared to the one I ate near orchard I think that is better. But overall the CP value is high. Can try the combo box, more valuable.
Great spot for unagi around HarbourFront! The eel was nicely grilled, soft on the inside with a bit of char, and the sauce wasn’t too sweet or heavy. Portions were satisfying and the rice paired really well with the unagi. Service was smooth and efficient, and the place felt comfortable even when it was busy. Would definitely come back again when the unagi craving hits!
