Visited the branch at Novena and walked in to a pleasantly quiet café that wasn’t full, making it easy to get a seat without waiting. The environment felt cozy and comfortable, suitable for a casual meal. 🍜 Wonton Mee with Roasted Char Siew & Wontons The highlight of the meal. The noodles were cooked well with a nice bite, and the roasted char siew was flavourful with a good balance of sweetness and smokiness. The wontons were fresh, nicely seasoned, and complemented the dish perfectly. Overall, a delicious and satisfying bowl. 🍥 Chee Cheong Fun The chee cheong fun was okay, but not outstanding. The texture of the rice rolls was acceptable, but the sauce fell a bit short—lacking depth and richness, which made the dish feel a little underwhelming compared to other items. 🥤 Iced Hong Kong Milk Tea A solid cup of HK-style milk tea—smooth, strong, and refreshing. However, there was a hygiene concern: the waiter carried the cup by holding the top rim area instead of using the handle, which felt uncomfortable from a cleanliness standpoint. A small service detail, but something the café could improve. 🏠 Environment The place was cozy and clean, with a relaxing ambience that works well for both quick meals and casual meet-ups. Service was generally okay, aside from the cup-handling issue. --- ⭐ Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5 Good taste, comforting environment, and enjoyable signature dishes. With slight improvements in service hygiene and sauce quality for some items, the experience could be even better.

The food here is tasty, though the service staff can sometimes seem a little impatient. I especially like their char siew wanton noodles, which I’ve ordered on several visits and found the quality to be consistently good. The Hong Kong style iced milk tea is decent as well. I’ve also tried their dim sum, which was average. I would still return again if I happen to be passing by

Overprice food. The quality is not worth the price. Serve is great so great place to have a drink for a meetup but not for heavy meals I got a kaya toast breakfast set first and it was average. Bread slides too thin to have the traditional toast bread crunch. Tea is not well made, too watery. Omelet was well cooked and runny, weird with kaya toast though I got pork cutlet baked rice after and its plain tomato paste on rice, too basic for the price, the pork cutlet is dark and dry too. I got the claypot wanton noodles after as the photo looks good, but what they serve looks totally different and its flavourless. Thankful, service staff allowed me to send it back to the kitchen.

Went for a weekday lunch before a medical appt. Conveniently located on the ground floor, just next to the escalator coming up from the MRT station. There was one table left so we didn’t have to queue. Staff were busy but tables were clean and service was efficient. The cute lemon tea with the ice dinosaur was thirsty-quenching. The dinosaur was frozen ice lemon tea. So it kinda added onto the drink. The other drinks, yuan yang and grass jelly, were the usual good. The chicken chop was super good, the baked potato could have been better with butter. Absolutely loved the maggi Mee with chicken in the claypot, it was absolutely delicious. The wonton Mee fell a bit flat for us. It was just a bit too sweet

Went on a Thursday evening. Half filled, no need to call for reservations. Ordered a shared chicken pot, pork chop fried rice, luncheon meat and egg rice, pan fried radish cake. Food. Not bad Service: very good. Very promptly served us. Atmosphere: tables too closed too, overall still fine. Will I go back again? Yes.
