Yakiniku-GO

Food is decent but there's no service staff to be seen as most of them are at the restaurant next to them apparently their parent company shop. Ordered the promo snow crab and it was super salty, no crab taste only salt taste. And most of the legs have parasites on them. Even after giving feedback to the manager, they replaced 3 other legs apparently also have parasites but they remove it beforehand(markings still can be seen).

I went during Sunday night. Ordered 200g chicken set for $14.90++ i.e. $17.87. I think the food is ok, but the beef curry sauce was kinda cold, I should have opted for free top up rice, and it's kinda hard to bbq the meat. Took a while for the meat to be cooked. By then my rice gone liao haha. I think if it's weekday, worthwhile to go and eat.

I happened to chance upon Yakiniku-GO at Hougang Mall and decided to give it a try after seeing their daily promo set at just S$9.90++ ended up upsizing to the 200 gram portion for S$11.90++ and it turned out to be a great deal. The portion was generous and came with a good variety of complimentary sides, along with a flavourful curry sauce for the rice which added a nice touch. The meat was tender, well marinated and absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the aroma of the fat as it sizzled on the grill. It added so much flavour and made the whole experience really satisfying. I also liked the free flow green tea, which was just S$1.90++. It was refreshing and paired well with the meal. What really stood out was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. They made me feel welcome and added to the overall positive experience. And best of all, you do not walk out smelling like a walking barbecue. No lingering smoke on your clothes or hair, which makes it even more pleasant especially if you are heading somewhere after. All in all, it was a lucky find. Tasty food, great value and excellent service. I will definitely be back. Verdict 5/5👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I was drawn to this establishment because i chanced upon the ad at suntec the day before. So since this outlet is near me i gave it a go today. The waiters are extremely polite and swift with their service. From placing you to a seat, to printing you the QR code then serving food all took less than 10 mins. They gave me the free beef curry, so peeps you can get that free beef curry even though you order the value set. The belachan is punching and marvellous, so much better than many outside. I cannot say this is the best place for japanese bbq. But value for money yes !! 9.90++ for 100g karubi, 11.90 ++ for 200g. Meat cuts not the best but certainly value for money. The salad bowl of choppes cabbage, cherry tomatoes and a leaf of spinach with condiments, complimentary beeg curry glop makes it a balanced meal.

Staff Zen was extremely courteous and professional! Had a really great experience here as the food was high quality, especially the beef cuts which were super tender and flavourful. Everything was well prepared and came out quickly. Big shoutout to Staff Zen, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and made the whole meal feel more personal. It’s rare to meet staff who are so genuine and thoughtful, and he made a good place even better. Definitely coming back. Great service, great food.
