The food tastes good, especially when it is prepared properly. However, the service can be unfriendly, which is why many customers choose to order through the machine, although that only works for takeaway orders. There are occasional mistakes as well. For example, I once ordered duck porridge but received it containing salted vegetables, which had never happened in past orders. This was likely because the staff misread the order as duck rice, prepared the usual ingredients meant for rice, realised the mistake, and added them into the porridge instead. To make things worse, there were small bones in the porridge.
I have been eating this brand for very long and no doubt the food is good. However, the service at this particular outlet (Woodleigh mall) is really damn bad. The cashier is so rude and impatient, especially to elderly and young customer. He will only talk nicely after you raise ur voice at him zzz. Please get your audit department to audit this outlet. Thank you

Finally got to try at this outlet. Ordered their set meal. As usual the actual set & poster showing always look so differ. However the standard still there. Even got beanspouts, must finish it all.
I am a big fan of Yew Kee. However, the spectacled uncle at this branch is very very very rude, barking instructions at me. So i totally gave up ordering and left. My previous visits were ok, the guys standing with him was ok too - they nodded when I ask to add $1 to upsize. But this uncle ignored my request and only want to say his piece. He insist another bowl repeatedly which I said no repeatedly. It Is hard to employ staff - but honestly if u cannot even bother to listen to your customers - is giving your brand a bad name. 👎👎
