Came here for a late after dinner snack as many places were closed (even McDonald's). This was open, so we ordered a plate of dumplings for $7. No paywave, just paynow. It was just OK, nothing special. Service was also decent. We asked for extra vinegar and the staff poured it for us.
Large juicy dumplings, 8pcs for sgd7, cheaper than food court upstairs. Lots of julienned ginger in the vinegar. Communal sit down area, can buy stuff from neighbouring stalls. Empty on Monday night at 8.30pm.
The staff had a care-less attitude despite the place not being busy. The cut chilli were not topped up after the lunch crowd, but looking at their attitude, I decided to go without cut chilli. Choosing their S$9.80 soups turned out to be a mistake—both the sauerkraut fish and 金汤肥牛 were disappointing. The former just tasted like an overly salty salted vegetable soup, while the latter was completely bland and lacked any saltiness, just 4 slices of beef with LOTS OF enoki and huge pieces of cabbage.
Eaten here several times. Big fan of their ee-fu noodles which is reasonably priced and a great light meal. Tried their 酸菜鱼,huge bowl with a lot of fish. They have a good seating area. Quite a decent value for money stall.
Terrible. I didn’t realize Sichuan food could be made this poorly. Dish looks funny color, skimpy on the ingredients, and just tastes bad. It’s like taking a legitimate dish and watering it down with 50% water.
