Bali Thai

Just finished the fantastic dinner set at Bali Thai IMM and it was a superb experience! This set is truly the best of Thai and Indonesian cuisine, offering amazing value for a full, delicious meal. The Lime Steam Fish was the absolute star of the show. The fish was incredibly fresh and tender, swimming in a broth that was the perfect balance of zesty lime, spicy chili, and pungent lemongrass. It was bright and addictive! Next up, the Chili Kang Kong was spot on. Perfectly stir-fried with just the right amount of sambal kick—crisp, flavourful, and a great pairing for the rich fish and meat. The BBQ Chicken was equally impressive; marinated beautifully and grilled to smoky, juicy perfection. It was tender and had that authentic charcoal flavour. Finally, the Dessert of the Day was a delightful and sweet end to the meal. Today was Mango Pudding—a refreshing palate cleanser.

I’ve been to the Bali Thai outlets at Suntec and Ngee Ann City, but this is my first time at the IMM branch. We ordered the Tahu Telur, Crab Meat Omelette Fried Rice, and Kang Kong. Everything was delicious, though I do wish that for the price of $23.80++, there had been more crab meat in the fried rice. Overall, a great meal.

Service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and willing to make recommendations based on preferences. Overall, Bali Thai offers an excellent dining experience—delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Southeast Asian flavors.

The food is good. There are set menus that is much more cost effective for you to choose from, and all of them are generally quite good. Their dishes can be very sour so some options may not be for you if you dont like sour. The waiting time is quite long, even when there is not much customers, so expect to wait for some time.

Great Thai restaurant with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The dishes were well-balanced, not too oily, and full of taste. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere make it a nice spot to enjoy Thai food. Definitely worth coming back.
