Geláre Causeway Point

I’ve noticed a recurring pattern where certain customers respond in a visibly unhappy manner, often giving one-word replies and looking generally displeased despite receiving their orders accurately and on time. Now, while I understand that everyone has their off days (I mean, who among us hasn’t been hangry, right?), it does make the interaction quite awkward and discouraging ,especially when efforts are being made to serve them politely and efficiently. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this kind of response, and at this point, I’m beginning to wonder if there’s a secret “grumpy customer” loyalty card I’m not aware of. If so, I’d like to unsubscribe 😅 Plus... and I say this with all due respect and a deep love for food... why the food so expensive but so small 😭??? I ordered the “Golden Treat” and ngl, it gave “Golden Tease" HAHAH Just thought I’d flag this in case there’s something I could do differently to improve the interaction, or if I just need to emotionally prepare myself before every food order LOL

the waffles ice cream has never disappoint and they did the upgrade on the chair too which is way more comfortable at causeway point , although the price is abit ex but still worth it cause the ice cream and waffles is worth however the tuesday deal would be better if moved to friday cause always did not get a chance

The atmosphere is great. And although my friends say that I have no rights because I like choco-mint, they've got a great enough variety that I don't mind going without my beloved much

after taking our order this malay lady asked us to wait outside, after taking a peep inside there are a lot of empty seats with 4 workers just chatting and laughing at each other. We are a family of 2 adults with 4 kids. Despite seeing the note that we are not advise to occupy the seats near the railing panels, they still die2 want us to sit there. Very rude and dared to show face. Mind you all these happened after we have taken a seat. Yes, I know they had “Please wait to be Seated” sign outside but like I said, they all saw us waiting and eventually entered on our own. It’s a Tuesday so they had a staff leaning on the ice cream display instead of helping us to our seats. On top of that, they serve us ice cream with leftover watery whipped cream. I come here at least once every month but never on a Tuesday night. We drove here for Gelare but was disgustingly disappointed with the service.

The waffles taste good and are well made. However, the customer service could be improved. There were three workers, and none of them were welcoming—they all had a very serious expression, which made the atmosphere feel a bit uncomfortable. With friendlier service, this place could be much better.
