The new Golden Kani Chawanmushi was exceptional! As fans of Genki Sushi, we've tried most of the seasonal items over the years. This time, this particular chawanmushi checks all the boxes for a bold interpretation of modern fusion with Singaporean-twist chawanmushi - sweetness from the pumpkin puree, savoury from the salted egg, umami from the real crab meat. It's like integrating zi-char's pumpkin crab and salted egg crab into the Japanese silky custard-like steamed egg. We didn't take photos of other sushi we had. They were good, as usual. Staff service was okay, we miss the cheerful uncle who was not at the store today.
Epitome of Japanese Sushi Chain. Friendly. efficient but highly streamlined staffs Expect QR code scanning, self ordering, prompt self collection of your own food coming out of a speeding machine. May be overwhelming for older folks who are not Tech Savvy or Digitally literate. Great for Solo/ Couple but not ideal for any dining size of more than 4 paxs. Great Food, Great Varieties. Great Seasonal Promotions. Prices are reasonable, but don’t expect very high value for money (like some joints in Japan). Didn’t have to wait too long for a table (dinner time on a Friday night). The food came fast and “Speedy” as well. Overall, a great and satisfying dinning experience!
Great experience at Genki Sushi! The staff were very attentive and friendly, making sure everything was well taken care of. Food was served promptly and the sushi was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back!
Sunday, 1715h:Located at United Square with attentive staff such as Lisyati, it makes the dining here awesome! Appreciate their effort to create seasonal special sushi which gives adventurous diners a chance to try out a different culinary opportunity!
Very clean place. Fresh prawns and salmon. The children enjoyed the experience of having train delivering the food to them. Also interesting sushi - smoked duck with smelt cheese
